HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN???? We arrived on Saturday, March 25 at 4.00 p.m. to check in and immediately were on guard because of the wretched appearance of the property. The woman who checked me in was not rude but didn't say anything even remotely pleasant. She appeared to be on the phone via Bluetooth with tech support over some cloud issue; I didn't know if she was talking to me or the person on the phone. Our room was on the 2nd floor because there were no clean rooms on the first floor and, IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF ADA LAWS, THERE'S NO ELEVATOR, which was an issue for my 84-year-old mother, who powered through very slowly to get up the stairs. The handrail was painted white and had not seen the business side of a cleaning cloth in YEARS. Massive chunks of paint at least two or three feet long were missing from various parts of the building. Water was pooled all over the walkways on the first and second floors. The pool looked like it had not had attention in a long time and needed to be vacuumed. We got into the room and were immediately overwhelmed by cleaning products that made it difficult to breathe. The floor was sticky and greasy. It was one of the rooms that had been "renovated," but that cannot cover up horrific management and dangerous lack of sanitation. One bedspread had multiple stains and tiny holes in it (if that was the "good side," I shudder to think what it looked like underneath). In the corners behind the door and all around the A/C unit, there was dirt, dust, and something looking very similar to rodent droppings. As I'm already regretting subjecting my mother and myself to this place, my mother tells me that, while she waited for me to check in, she saw a lot of questionable men who appeared to be staying here. About 2 min. later, we left and gave keys back. I chose driving 7 hours straight over that nightmare. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!
