I was looking for a hotel that could accommodate 4 people (2 adults and 2 children under elementary school age) and that included breakfast, and this hotel came up. I had imagined a 2-bed room, but the rooms were all separate, making a total of 3 rooms, with 1 shower room, 1 bathtub room, and 2 washrooms and toilets, which was very convenient. Most of the guests staying were Westerners, and I didn't see any Japanese. Breakfast was basically buffet style, but you could also order pho and eggs Benedict for free.
The only disappointment was that the air conditioner smelled a bit annoying.
It's a little far to walk from the old town, but if you use Glab, it won't be a problem. The staff were very friendly and I would like to use this hotel again.

The location is a little far from the old town, about 20 to 30 minutes walk. However, the bus stop was about 10 minutes walk away, so I used it to go to Bat Trang Village. There was also a supermarket nearby, so I bought souvenirs.

Smoking is not allowed in the room. Because I don’t understand Vietnamese and couldn’t read the notice, I found out that there is a fine for smoking in the room. I hope the hotel can issue a notice in Chinese in the future.

The hotel receptionist was friendly and the room was clean and nice. The hotel lobby looked really nice. Pretty good location as it is near the West lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda

I ordered fried rice at the cafe on the first floor, but it still hadn't arrived after an hour, so I canceled my order...
Looking at the reviews, it seems like this happens often, so I recommend not using the cafe on the first floor in order to make better use of your time.

The hotel looked fancy at first glance, but was quite deceiving when we actually stayed in it.
Good points about the hotel was the comfortable bed and the location, as it was not located directly inside the old quarter so it was quiet at night.
Areas to be improved: The toilet was a difficulty to use as there was no privacy. The privacy blinds for the glass screen had a huge gap between them to see through and it was as good as not having the blinds. The water pressure for the shower was also very weak and the temperature was difficult to control, so we had to hold the faucet while showering.
The room interior looked luxurious, but upon closer look some areas were peeling off and not very well maintained. The aircon was blowing straight at our face when we lie on the bed so it was quite cold.
The breakfast buffet was not amazing either, only the ala carte food orders were decent.
The swimming pool and gym were located at the sister hotel opposite this hotel so you will have to go there to use the facilities.
Overall we felt the hotel was overpriced compared to the quality of stay.
