Royal Holiday Hanoi Hotel

Hồ Hoàn Kiếm Area
The hotel is located next to the old town of Hoan Kiem Lake. It is a 3-minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. It is very convenient to walk in the morning and evening. It is within walking distance to St. Joseph's Church/Lounge Prison/Temple of Literature/Historical Museum. It is about 850 meters away from Dong Xuan Market. When buying cashew nuts, the largest price is 200,000 VND per kilogram. Cotton socks are also cheap, with a package of five pairs costing 100,000 VND. The hotel room is spacious and the utensils are high-end. You can order two main dishes + two drinks for breakfast. The portion is sufficient. I recommend the chicken steak and burgers. The hotel can book cars and travel itineraries. We booked a trip to Ninh Binh LIMOSION for 400,000 VND/person.
Binh Anh Hotel

The location of the hotel is a little far from the centre of Hanoi so there’s not too much to do around it. However it’s located in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. The room we were given was large and came with a huge bed and an ok bathroom. The major problem we had was the lack of natural light. At 3pm it was pitch black without using the lamp. The window faced outwards towards a narrow gap between the building so let in no sun at all. Usually I wouldn’t consider this a deal breaker but the weather was heavy showers and the thought of staying in a rather dank room all did didn’t really appeal to me. We did raise this with the receptionist shortly after arriving and asked if we could change rooms - the hotel seemed empty apart from us so we thought that switching to an equal value room would be possible. We were initially told that if we wanted some light we should just turn the light switch on. I like a laugh and I doubt that this was anything other than an attempt to make light of the situation but, still, given the eventual outcome it wasn’t much appreciated. We were told to pay 600000 more to change room. We declined and looked at changing hotels. We gathered our bags and checked out 30 minutes later. The manager was at the reception this time and, very much to her credit, tried hard to make amends by offering a different room but we’d already booked another hotel. Ultimately, if you don’t mind a room with minimal light and around a 25 minute walk to the hotspots then this hotel might suit you well. I cannot comment on the breakfast or other services. I personally found greater value for money in other hotels around Hanoi.
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi

Hồ Hoàn Kiếm Area
Amazing experience. The service is superb as you would expect from Sofitel Legend. The facilities are good, the place has a true historical vibe without being a museum of antiques. The breakfast is excellent in terms of local food variety. There are several 5 star hotel options in Hanoi, but seems like Sofitel is the best one you can find. Unfortunately we missed the hotel tour, so will need to come back.

Stunning Hotel With Fantastic Services! I just stayed at Melia Hanoi hotel for 01 night for my business trip but it was easy to recognize the differences between this hotel and others. Even the builiding outside is not so impressed however inside the hotel all concepts make the significant differences. The Bar in the lobby has the very nice space and really help in the summer time when need place for talking to friend or partners. The restaurant with the stunning breakfast buffet. it seems we could found any dishes in this breakfast buffet and all food were delicious. the hottess was very helpful when buffet was full and still escort and find a table for you. I stayed in premium room with nice living room and bedroom room. nothing could find to complain. All staffs were helpful and polite. the door girl with nice Melia long dress always smiling and help to the guest even the temperature outside over 40 degree. The hotel should stay in Ha Noi.
