Room was comfortable for 4 adults. This is a 2 level room with 2 sets of everything (kettle, toiletries, hair dryer etc). What I like most was that there are 2 toilets plus 1 separate bath tub which allows 3 persons to shower concurrently thus saving time to queue for the bathroom, great for group trips! Only downside was tht level 1 of the room was a little dark.

I stayed 4 nights in 4 female bed room and it was lovely. My roommates were very respectful. The room had everything I needed, except for towels, but you can purchase disposable ones from the machine and they were okay! The terrace in the hostel had such a cool vibe. I ordered food online and then ate it on the terrace which was lovely. They also organise different kind of events, karaoke nights, movie nights etc. So cool! The hostel is easy to find, the metro station is literally 4 minute walk. There are plenty of shops Family Mart, Lawsons and pharmacies nearby. A lot of places to eat within walking distance. Really convenient location! I cycled only 20 minutes to West lake scenic area and then walked back which took me less than 50 minutes but was a pleasant and easy walking route. I would highly recommend staying here if you are on a low budget and don't mind sharing space. Bathroom was gender mixed but very clean and no issues there! I'd stay here again definitely! 😍

Perhaps because of such superior conditions, the hotel is full of guests. I went to the hotel to check in at around 3 pm and was told that the booked room type was not available yet... Of course, I also know that the lady with glasses at the front desk has done her best to help deal with it and helped upgrade the room type (but the room is in the corner room inside). In fact, I don’t reject this (it turns out that it is not very comfortable), but I have to take a bath and change clothes as soon as possible to go out for business, so I can only accept it... The room originally booked facing the West Lake scenery failed to stay successfully this time. I hope that I can successfully stay in the scenery next time, and it is not a corner room on both sides...

🌟The outside is under renovation and the location is a little hard to find, but when I found it, it was all worth it!
🌿The overall environment is really good, the scenery is pleasant, and there is a bustling shopping mall downstairs, with shopping and food all available!

The location is very close to West Lake and Wulin Gate, and it is very convenient for eating, shopping, and subway. The facilities are good, especially the mattress, which is moderately hard and soft. It is clean and tidy, and I feel relieved. The hotel service is still very meticulous and thoughtful, helping to recommend routes and food, and being super patient. What amazed me most was the hotel's facade and restaurant bar. The facade has a European feel, and it is super nice to check in and take pictures. The burgers and craft beer are even better. I didn't want to go out for dinner or order takeout at night. I wanted to go downstairs for a walk, but I smelled the aroma of the burger and ordered it automatically. It tasted pretty good. The beef pot was quite colorful, and paired with a glass of refreshing craft beer, the emotional value was full, and I will come again!

I love the place. It is very near to the metro station that link directly to the railway station I was taking. Long the street, there are many shops where I walk walk around and shopping. Further down maybe 10mins walk, there are many shops selling snacks and souvenir stuff. It gets very lively at night. Can walk down even further to get to 大马弄 dama lane for breakfast. There is this 煎饺 stir fried dumplings very nice (泮芳春煎饺) get there early as it will get very crowded. There is another deep fried fish slice is very nice too (大马弄蒋师傅酥鱼) nice too.
Overall the hotel is quite good. And if you order delivery, they have this robot to delivery to your room. 👍

AAiyouwei456There is such a quiet place in the turbulent crowds of Xixi scenic spots. There are restaurants and teahouses outside, and there are ducks and wild reeds inside.
The hotel is very beautiful. The interior and exterior design is indeed a master's hand, simple and restrained, with a sense of design and wildness.
The hotel people are also very beautiful. The front desk is gentle and patient, the concierge is sunny and handsome, and the guest room is warm and friendly. The key is that everyone is sincere and enthusiastic.
This time I stayed in a courtyard room with good privacy. The small courtyard faces the wetland. There are ducks playing in the water on sunny and rainy days. It is really a healing holiday. Thank you for seeing it.

AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget.
Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment.
The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious!
Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration!
After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice.
To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel:

3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages.
4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation
5. Amazing tea
Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.

LljjjRoom: The room is quite okay, not too small but not too big. We can open two 24-inch suitcases in the room.
Air Conditioning: The air conditioning is the central type. You can adjust the fan, but the temperature doesn't seem adjustable. At first, we had to wait quite a long time to feel the cold air.
Amenities: Every day, they refill two bottles of mineral water for us. They also provide new slippers, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo daily. Towels can also be changed every day. There are about 4-5 sockets in the room. The sockets are designed for international use, so you can use them without a universal adapter. We found out on the day we checked out that the drinks inside the fridge were free of charge (there was a sticker on the fridge stating this), but it was too late for us to enjoy them. You should check this before consuming any items.
Shower and toilet: The toilet and bathing area are separated. The water pressure is strong, but there is only one hook inside the shower room, and it is quite high up (which might not be convenient if you want to bring your clothes inside to change). The toilet is a smart toilet with different functions like auto flush. However, the doors for the toilet and bathing area are semi-transparent (you can see inside, though not clearly). If you are staying with someone you are not familiar with, it might be awkward. Refer to the attached pictures for the toilet and shower area. Between the toilet and shower, they also use the same semi-transparent glass. Please take note if you are concerned about this issue.
Breakfast: The room we booked included breakfast. The breakfast options are quite varied, from Asian to Western styles. However, there is a peak period during the morning breakfast hours when you might not find seats. Check with the reception about the breakfast peak period so you can avoid it and enjoy your breakfast.
Transport: Although the metro seems quite near, it still takes about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel (we're not sure if we took the wrong exit or if there is a better option).
Laundry: They offer a free laundry service. You can use the washing machines and dryers for free. There are three washing machines and three dryers.
WiFi: They provide free WiFi, but if you don't have a local (China) phone number, you won't be able to connect to it. However, you can get help from the reception; they can assist you in connecting to the WiFi.

JJaymest WongA very new hotel. Very clean and bed also very comfortable. About 10-15mins walk from the metro station. There are a lots of food around and also can walk to West Lake around 15-20mins. If want to go other attractions places it is very easy to take the public busses around. Toilet very clean. Cleaning lady and man always on standby to clean. The room might be a bit small but everything is there. Bed is very comfy and soft. The centralised aircond system is very good so you have good ventilation although you are taking the bunk bed type. The common area also very big. Only 1 cons is the wall maybe a bit thin, if there are people who kinda selfish talking loud at the corridor you will have to bear with it and if happen your next door neighbour is snoring you might heard about it but all this can be settle by the earplug. Overall its very good and nice hostel with the price.

FFlyingNoodlesI recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express West Lake East Hangzhou and had a great experience. The hotel is in a perfect spot, right next to a metro station, making it super easy to get around. It's also close to beautiful spots like West Lake and Lingyin Temple, which are just a short trip away.
The rooms are really spacious, bed size are bigger than usual. Plus, they're super comfy, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay if you're visiting Hangzhou.

MMukulDear Trip Manager , Make sure hotel’s top management reads this message . I had checked out around 1.50 pm on 1st then gone to watch hockey match and after match directly drove to Shanghai. After Shanghai around 8.45 pm released I left my & families passport in locker of the wardrobe , locker was left open therefore no password required to open . I immediately called hotel’s front desk first spoke to lady she told exact locatio n of three passports. I waited for 20 minutes then called again this fine spoke to another person “ Wu” , he was more responsive and told he will check and assured to call back but he didn’t call back . I called after about 20 minutes he told he found a gold chain . This my gold chain I asked him again did he find passport he told “ no , think else was found “. Actually he didn’t send anybody to room to check . He lied ! . I told him to check again as I told him exact place of my passport. He said he will get it checked . I waited again for about 20 minutes again and called again spoke to him this time he told that another guest has checked in and therefore they cannot as guest is not in room . He told me to wait until guest comes back . Hotel’s housekeeping staff had found my chain in afternoon while cleaning and gave it front desk . Actually hotel should have called me on mobile immediately but wondering why this such kind of negligence . Absolutely disappointed. We kept on calling a few time until 1.15 am , my wife called atleast 10-15 times . Front desk staff kept on saying cannot enter room as guest hasn’t comeback . Meanwhile I had contacted via your app to three agents they said they will come back in one hour but nobody did …..!!! I had called around 1.15 am to hotel and told them I have no option to call police . Then Wu told he wait for 10 minutes , he called back and told to call police . I called 110 gave full information to police and with 10 minutes local police station called back to verify and after about 10-15 minutes I called Police again they said front desk has found my passports . If front desk had not authority to enter thek should have given option to call police and then they could enter room to search . Untrained unprofessional staff made me suffer for 4 & half ours . I will tell this story to all and will tell to all to never stay in this hotel ever …. Thanks

We were looking forward to our stay but poor and dishonest communication and service unfortunately ruined it. It started at arrival, where they had told us there would be someone to help us carry our bags up the 10-minute long steep incline to the accommodation, but there was nobody. The manager, who met us to guide us, did not help us herself until we literally had to stop from exhaustion.
Most importantly, when we arrived we were taken to a different room than we had originally booked. The hotel manager kept insisting this was an upgrade, but the room did not have most of the amenities we paid for. It also had a foul odor.
When we checked the price of the room she was trying to give us as an “upgrade”, it was 500 RMB/night less than our original room. They had offered us no money off at all. When we showed the manager this, she made excuses, saying the price depends on the “family” and is automatically “adjusted” which is was obviously a lie.
Finally, after much arguing, we were moved into our original room. We requested an extra pillow and a blanket multiple times. She only gave us a flat sheet, saying we could use the pillow and blanket from the bed.
On our second night, we confirmed in advance that we wanted non-spicy to low spicy food. It came extemely spicy, covered in chillies and chilli oil. The manager blamed the ayi. The food was delicious but unfortunately I could barely eat it because it was just too spicy.
When leaving, the manager was trying to rush us out because the taxi we had requested came early. She said no goodbye to us, told us to hurry and “go, go, go”. Later she sent us a goodbye message on wechat.
The location and the infrastructure of the hotel are beautiful. It is a great place to relax and reflect. The old ladies working there were friendly and lovely. However, the manager was patently trying to take advantage of us, and not listening to us or communicating honestly or clearly.
We wanted to come back to this hotel with our friends, but we will look for another hotel in Qiandao that will not try to take advantage of us.

GGuest UserVery satisfied with the stay. Came to Hangzhou with friends. This loft is very suitable for us. There is a bathroom on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. It is much better than those chain brands. The area is also large. The layout is very thoughtful. I will come again next time I visit.
