Hotels in Wulin Square Area, Hangzhou

The Merchant Marco is my go-to hotel whenever in Hangzhou. Nice, clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, & a location that can't be beaten for tourists - fit with an excellent view from the roof terrace - and all at a more than reason price.

The hotels location is great, 1 min away from Fengqi station exit D. The room is quite big. The TV didn't work properly, even though I asked for someone to check it. The sound wasn't good, and you could only control it if you were sitting on the sofa. The cleaning wasn't great, housekeeping didn't spend much time in the room. The wasn't many washing machines and one was broke for 3 days. One elevator was also broke for 3 days. Breakfast was OK. The staff were nice though.

We really enjoy this hotel stayed. The staff name 小方 go all out to help us on the breakfast issue. Nice breakfast. We stayed in the family room which come with 2 toilets and 1 bath. The family room is big. The hotel free laundry service is a very plus points. Got 5 washing machines and 5 dryers and can monitor from room the status of the machines. Opposite the hotel there is a local market that we visited. Great experience to shop at the local market. Just take note the hotel is Elong(on the building)

The hotel is very close to the Metro which is very convenient to travel. It is also in walkable distance from the West Lake (around 10 mins walk). The room is clean and spacious. The staff are also very friendly.

There was a foul smell in the room. Must be coming from the bathroom because it's open concept so all the bathroom floor would get wet whenever you take a shower. So the smell might have been coming from lingering stale water or maybe the drains need cleaning. I have no clue, I only know that the smell was horrible. Additionally, the wifi was web login so each time u had to leave the room with the keycard you would have to do that annoying web login thing again when u re-entered the room and used the keycard to switch the power back on.

We stay a night for transfer to another city so I'm not sure if the location is great but there's a metro exit nearby which is great. We had a family room for three but they accepted our 6yo boy (below 120cm height) to stay free and breakfast free. The front desk staff is polite and helpful. She showed us the nearby restaurants and convenient stores when we had our late night check in around 1030pm. The room is spacious, comfy mattress with two types of pillow to fit our needs, we had a quiet night resting here even though we're on the 1st floor, happy with this part. We got our toothbrush sets from the front counter, toothbrush is softer than those we had in other places. The exhaust fan is strong to keep our toilet dry. Water heater and water pressure are good. Air conditioner is doing well too. Hotel provide free self service laundry with free detergent given. The free breakfast is simple and basic Chinese food like steam bun, wantan, noodles, porridge, milk. Overall recommended.

The hotel is in a very good location, near Exit H of West Lake Cultural Plaza on Metro Lines 1, 3, and 19, only 700 meters away from West Lake Cultural Plaza (Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Natural History Museum, Science and Technology Museum), and only a few hundred meters away from the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal attractions, which can be reached on foot; it is only a few stops away from Wulin Square, West Lake, and Hangzhou East Station by subway, which is very convenient and suitable for friends who come to Hangzhou. The hotel service is very good. I arrived on the morning of the 6th, and the front desk lady upgraded the room for free. The room is in very good condition, everything is brand new, and it meets the standards of a 4-star hotel. Next time I come to Hangzhou, I will stay in this Vienna Hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, in the city. There are many flowers and plants planted at the entrance of the hotel. The environment is very good. The lobby is decorated very tastefully and looks good for taking photos. There is also a coffee machine and ice cream in the lobby, which is very good. The environment is super good. The front desk is very enthusiastic and professional in checking in. The rooms are also clean and sanitary. The twin beds are 1.35*2 meters, which is great! The breakfast is also delicious, with beef noodles and chicken soup wontons, which is great. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. The laundry room is on the first floor, which is very convenient. The clothes are washed very cleanly. The treadmill in the gym is very good. I will choose this store next time I come to Hangzhou. It's great~

Check in was a breeze and the reception staff are helpful and speak some English. I was able to extend my stay from two to three nights no problem. The room was bright, clean and spacious with a nice hot shower and robes, slippers ad toiletries all provided. The hotel is easy to find and is in a great location. Very close to Wulin Square Metro and a gentle 30 minute walk to the West Lake. I didn't take the breakfast option but there's a cafe with espresso machine that serves OK coffee. Theonly thing I missed was a safety deposit box in the room but apart from that, the Pagoda was great and I'd happily stay there again.

Still consider clean but able to see stained of renovations. The staff doesn’t seems to be very friendly, making me feel uncomfortable. Also there’s a night where no electricity, there’s no apologies or compensation from them at all. And the room only provides two bottles of drinking water a day, we asked for an extra bottle but given and unfriendly attitude. Location wise is 10 minutes walking distance to the metro station. And there is no waiting area for the taxi which cause slightly inconvenience especially during raining.
