Hotels in Longmen Ancient Town Scenic Area, Hangzhou

The hotel is right on the edge of Longmen Ancient Town. The surrounding environment is okay. The rooms are large and have a terrace. From the lobby to the rooms, they are full of antique cultural charm. The service staff are very warm and considerate. We booked 4 rooms, and each one was... Fruit was delivered. The breakfast is just a bit simple. The chess and card room may not be used by many guests. The mahjong table is old and several spotlights are broken and it feels very dark.

The boss lady is very welcoming. The hotel is right in the middle of the town. There are beautiful views everywhere. My wife said the breakfast was delicious. It is recommended to add another desk. The transportation is very convenient, next to Longmen Ancient Town, within walking distance Just got home Still recalling the time I spent living in Xianyuan these two days Hidden among the mountains and rivers, simple yet fashionable The landlady is gentle and elegant Every corner of the B&B is designed just right Operating with care I am very conflicted in my heart. I really hope that the boss lady’s business will be prosperous, but I am worried that everyone will find out and break the tranquility here. I believe that the boss lady will balance it well. After staying for two nights, I could sleep until I woke up naturally. The mattress is very comfortable and you can sleep peacefully when you lie down

Convenient transportation, better location to find, real old house, rich in history and vicissitudes, can hear the sound of streams and crickets outside the window at night, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, feel the quiet years. Maybe because the house is old, the lighting is not very good, and the old house has a taste of old age.

誠心評價不是託，是去考駕照順便帶孩子的。總的來説，環境很好，庭院很大，房間也比較大，以親子房為主，一家人來很合適，我也是帶着孩子所以特意找了個庭院大的方便孩子玩，衞生方面也不錯。重點，老闆娘真的很好呀，人很熱情，長得還美，非常熱心，給孩子找玩具，給我們泡茶，由於第二天一大早考試孩子還沒醒，還麻煩她送了我一下去考試，真心是太感謝了。離考場也不算遠，十分鐘左右路程。周邊的話離古鎮景點也是非常近的，環境很好，暑假有空再帶孩子去玩一下。

Great location , located at the edge of West Lake scenic zone . Close to public transport ( MTR and buses) Front desk team is excellent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable ( able to provide transport and tourist attraction information ) especially Chiu Hua Room is spaces and clean with good sound proofing. Housekeeping team is always attentive to details. The restaurant setting with an outdoor section is comfortable and the breakfast variety is great, give a lot of options for different preferences.( Western / Chinese ) , waitress are friendly and helpful . Overall we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to our friend and relatives , great value for money for a 5 star hotel .

Stayed for 2 nights here. I didn't like the earlier room and was changed to an upper floor room. This time the room was excellent. Clean, spacious, and with a large well equipped bath room. Location is good. Breakfast was decent. The front desk guy 小祝 was quite helpful. He forwarded me my guest bill as I forgot to request for it when I check out.

Hotel is very well located to the West Lake. Approx 15 mins walk. It is close to the night market and also a number of food halls. There is a coffee shop right downstairs on the right hand side of the hotel which makes great coffee. There is also 7/11 shop. Metro is also downstairs less than a min walk away. First impression checking in wasn’t great - English on checking in was difficult. Probably due to slight language barrier felt not as warmly welcomed as other hotels. I expect hotels that receive foreigners should have basic level check in. They also were very particular on how who should go into each of the three rooms but I said it we will sort this out between us. After that it was fine we went to our rooms. Rooms are quite outdated and could do with a bit of an upgrade especially with handles coming loose. Rooms come with bath robes, tooth brush, toothpaste, combs, Ted Baker toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) and slippers. They also provide water bottles daily and there are ones you can take free as you head out towards the lift which is a nice touch. The hotel housekeeping staff were the best despite language barrier they were very polite, courteous and professional. Very helpful as well. There was a housekeeping lady who came to help us with wifi as we did not have a China mobile number and she also knew we had three rooms booked. She helped with two of the rooms and asked if the other room needed help but they didn’t. There isn’t much of a place where guest can relax as they come back to the hotel. There is a small space on the left hand side as you enter the hotel which has a football table, toy dispenser machines, limited seating area. For anyone who wants good location to West Lake I would say this is it. However I think there are better hotels out there. Closeness to food and restaurants is a bonus. Rooms are clean but could do with an upgrade. It’s weird to have a window in the shower room that is directly onto the room as doesn’t give much privacy if all lights on. Overall 8/10

Pros: - Very convenient location, a couple of minutes walk to the West Lake. - The lobby is spotless, check in/out is smooth. - We went with a driver/tour guide (Zhu Feng) associated with the hotel who was very helpful, drove us around the lake for most of a day in pouring rain. - Bellman is very helpful with loading luggage (he needs to work out more though :). - Breakfast is good, but not great. Cons - The room is a little outdated, needs some maintenance work. - The AC is the worst. The one in our room was blasting air all day long, but can barely keep the temperate at 25 C (77 F). - The gym is pretty crappy. Looks like it's been rented out for external use, and it's not very clean or well maintained. Overall got a good bone but needs some management shakeup and remodeling.
