Hotels Near Shopping Plaza Lara in Handa

Close to the airport with small free parking on site so works well the night before an early morning flight if you need to return a car hire. A few restaurants within walking distance. Did not try facilities. Breakfast was quite average for western taste but that tends to be the case in Japan. Nothing fancy but comfortable and does the job well.

Since I had an early morning flight, I selected for this rather newish Marriott branded property (I believe it was ＜ 3 year old) close to Nagoya Chubu International airport for 1 night. Location The property is located about 5-10 mins walk from the Nagoya Chuba airport station. Outside of that, there is not much in the area outside of other nearby airport hotels. It is located next to the water, therefore the waterview is quite assured. The hotel does provide an airport shuttle especially during the morning hours - which I did not use as the walk to the airport was very doable even with large luggage. There is a walk bridge connecting the terminal to this airport hotel area. Check In I arrived quite late, around 11 pm at the property to intially an empty lobby area but did get busy after. I was helped immediately by what seems to be the only agent working that evening. I already saw on the Bonvoy app that one of my room was already upgraded to a Junior suite, while the 2nd room in my reservation was the room type that I had reserved. This was quite a long time ago as an Elite Titanium that I received an upgrade especially at a Four Points property. I was asked to select my welcome gift which I selected for the breakfast - since it already starts at 6 am which gave me sufficient time to have breakfast before going to the airport (since I knew at that the JAL domestic lounge would have zero options for breakfast). Room One of the room was on a lower floor, while the Suite was on the highest floor of the property (5th if I remember correctly). As expected it was a very spacious room - although without any separated bedroom and living area. The interior decoration of the hotel was aviation based and on the industrial concept - with a lot of dark tones - which I liked a lot, but I guess this is very personal point. On the other hand, there was no real option to brighten up the room further as the lighting was limited too - so it's not the best if you're someone who prefers a more lighted/bright room. The room had a large floor to ceiling windows facing the water, which in the morning I already noticed would have given the room a very bright feel with the natural lighting. There was no closed wardrobe, but it was an open concept. The bed was the main object in the room with the working desk situated behind the headboard area (this reminded me of the Metropol Belgrade property room). Outside of this, there was a small sitting area with a nice view towards the water and the terminal and hotel buildings. There was a small in room gift left by the hotel as an Elite welcome gesture - which was nice. The TV was of a larger size with the usual channels for an international chain hotel in Japan. Internet speed was good - stable and worked well for usual usage. The climate control in the room worked well being silence and managing to keep the room temperature as desired. We just booked all of a sudden because our flight was cancelled last minute and lucky there was an available room. The location is less than minutes away from the Terminal 2 of Centrair.

I stayed at the hotel for one night due to a late arrival. It is conveniently located near the airport, within a walking distance of approximately 10-15 minutes. Since it was late, most of the restaurants were closed. However, if you get hungry, there are 2-3 Family Mart stores in the nearby buildings. The breakfast provided was good, and the complimentary drinks offered in the lobby were a nice bonus. The room itself is quite old, but it was sufficient for a few hours of sleep. Most of the shops and restaurants in the airport open at 10 am, so if you want to explore before heading to the city, you can check out at that time.

You enter the room with a card key, but the front desk didn't seem to be able to operate it properly (?) and I couldn't enter even after touching it several times, so I asked the front desk staff and they helped me right away. There was a wide variety of breakfast options and they were all delicious.

It's next to the station, very convenient, and the front desk is very friendly and thoughtful. The guy at the front desk speaks very good English and is very professional and meticulous. The lady in the restaurant is also very considerate and enthusiastic. Highly recommended. Please note that the refrigerator actually needs to be turned on by itself.

The room was beautiful. I would definitely like to stay here again. Amenities were provided and there was even a microwave and kettle in the room, which is great for tourists.

This hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Japan. We left at noon on September 8, so the hotel on the 7th was just for one night and there were no special requirements. For some reason, all the hotels on September 7th were priced about three times higher than usual. Although this one was more expensive than usual, it was acceptable. It takes an hour to get to the airport and the center of Nagoya, which is quite convenient. The hotel is located opposite the square of Mikawa Anjo Shinkansen Station, just cross the road after leaving the station. The hotel is a little old, but clean and tidy. The room is super large, about two and a half times the size of a hotel room of the same price in Nagoya, and it also has a small balcony. The bed is very comfortable and very elastic. There is a new hot spring bath on the first floor of the hotel, which was built in 2023. In addition to the hot spring, it is also equipped with an ice water pool and a steam bath room. As a reference to the specifications of the hotel, this hotel is the accommodation place for the Canadian women's basketball team during the Tokyo Olympics. On the day we left, the three mayors of Anjo City, Kariya City and another nearby city were going to hold a meeting at this hotel, and saw the parking spaces reserved for them in the hotel parking lot. Around the hotel, there is a Family Mart within a three-minute walk, Ishimatsu Dumplings and Nagoya Fantasy Chicken Wings in the Shinkansen station (no need to queue), a large supermarket within a ten-minute walk, and a coffee shop called What Love, which features local red bean toast, which was very popular when we passed by, but we had already eaten and didn't go in. In short, the hotel itself and the surrounding facilities far exceeded expectations. Sorry, I didn't think of commenting, so there are no photos.

Because it is a hot spring hotel, the location is a bit remote, which is more suitable for self-driving tourists. The environment is comfortable and clean. In addition to the spa, sauna, relaxing room, massage room and children's playroom, even if you bring children, you don't have to worry about having no place for them to play. It is also worth experiencing for self-driving travelers.

他のドーミーインには何度も利用させてもらってますが、こちらは初でした 立地は三河安城駅の目の前なので分かりやすいです、今回車利用でしたので隣の駐車場に24時間600円で駐車できました、出し入れ自由だそうです 旅行で夫婦2名利用で部屋はお任せのプランでしたが、ツインの広々とした部屋に通されて十分満足、清掃も行き届いてました、 ドーミーインならではのサービス「夜泣きそば」も毎回楽しみにしています 朝食も品数十分で、朝から重いと思ったが味噌カツ丼も美味かった、十分他のビジネスホテルに差を付ける内容だと思う 出張で各地のビジネスホテルに泊まる事が多いのですが、ドーミーインがあれば迷わず予約します、スタッフの対応・清潔感・温泉大浴場・朝食も満足度が高い、 悪い評価もチラホラあるが、価格と内容を比較すれば他のホテルから頭一つ出ているのは間違い無いと思います。
