Blue Jay Motel

upon going to bed I pulled sheets down on one side to find blood on the sheet. Called desk after returning home and still not heard from the owner. This was disturbing and ruined what could have been a great getaway.

1st of all the manager/owner took our parking space like it was no big deal and then also accused us of smoking in the room when at the time of the call that he orginally placed to us we weren't even there and hadn't been there since checking in. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AS HE DID THIS OUT IN FRONT OF OTHER GUESTS!!!! we are grown adults and if we choose to smoke anything it is our choice but we know how to follow rules and don't smoke in rooms. maybe they should also ask other guests to not smoke on the property as all you could smell when walking out of the room was cigarette smoke. we definitely won't be back, which is unfortunate since if it wasn't for those two things it was a nice place. alittle stuffy smelling in the room though. could use airing out.......

We just spent the weekend at Hampton Beach and stayed at the Blue jay Motel We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay! The room was small BUT VERY CEAN! The outdoor atmosphere was very clean and pleasant as well. The owners (as I understand are new as of Fall of 2021) were very accommodating and pleasant to talk to. We will definitely be staying at the Bluejay Motel again😊

I booked a double room for my daughter and i to have a weekend away. I booked in early May for a late June weekend. I spoke to a lovely lady telling me it would be $135.00 per night. I agreed. My credit card was charges $270.18. I received an email saying this amount was charged to my M/C account. I never received a confirmation email. When we arrived we discovered NEW owners! They found my reservation and told me I had a balance of another $270.18. I asked for what? They said for 2nd night. I explained that when I made the reservation the "old owners" quoted me $135.00 night. No matter what, they were not going to accept the price "old owner" gave me. I drove 4 hrs to get to Hampton Beach and unless I paid we would have no reservations or one for just 1 night. I understand there was a problem for new owners with my reservation....but you had the choice of honoring my reservation but did not. I am sure you are booked most nights for summer / fall .... but because of your choice you have lost a customer!
