Om Shiva Guest House

It was good and comfortable stay everything is good except they should give the drinking water. Also cost per night should be less. The owner Shiva is good in nature and also help you to guide as well. In the room it includes fan, hot water facility.

We had a lovely at Om Shiva Guest House. It was my second time staying there and I'd not hesitate to go back again. Very well located in the village, close to the Virupaksha Temple, the sunset view point, the river and the famous mango tree restaurant. Cheap accommodation. The room itself, the bathroom, bed, bedsheets and towels were clean. The host Shiva was extremely helpful and arranging. He arranged a pick up and drop of for our arrival and departure to the train station and bus stop for a very reasonable price despite our train being late. He helped us arranging a bike rent and a tour of the temple with an extremely knowledgeable guide. He checked up on us when we were not feeling that great because of the heat. I recommend.

I am happy that Mr. Shiva approached me at the market to offer a room to stay. i was on a solo bike (bicycle) trip from Bengaluru. I transported the bike by bus and planned to move around in Hampi on the bike. Mr. Shiva offered me a room that was just what i needed - running hot & cold water, western toilet, wi-fi, bed & electricity. Food was available from more than one restaurant just outside. It was close to the main temple of Hampi. I could park the bike next to the room, and later inside when I need to do some cleaning and tuning. The rate was reasonable and Mr Shiva was most helpful in more ways than one. I recommend this place to all budget travelers who want to enjoy Hampi. Most of the places of interest were within walking distance from the place.
