The apartment was clean and tidy. The staff are very accommodating and they are happy to assist you in everything you need. I highly recommended this place.

Stay away. Not friendly staff at all. Rude and refused to help when needed. Hotel untidy and left in average condition when we arrived. We will not be going back to this hotel ab will ensure to tell others. One star for location but other than that - 0

Lovely hotel style apartment ,clean and in the heart of the city next to restaurants and cafes. Has a little kitchenette with a mini fridge and 2 small hotplates, also a microwave and dishwasher. Also has its own washing machine and dryer. Has car park facilities for limited amount of cars at an extra charge of $22

What a great stay! The reviews here made me nervous about my upcoming business trip to Hamilton. Our travel agents booked me into the Quest and I was pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff both days were lovely and so helpful. I parked across the road at Wilson Parking, easy as. The hotel entrance, first floor lobby and my room were great. Very clean and nicely fitted out. The kitchenette in my room (108) was well equipped, as was the bathroom - the washing machine was a bonus. My bed was comfortable and I also had a work desk, small table for eating and lounge chairs. The only downside was not being able to watch TV from bed as there's a small wing wall in the way. I love the long list of charge back restaurants nearby and used this facility for dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a room booked for Quest Hamilton for a wedding. Unfortunately I got Covid so we were unable to go. Sunny said thats outside his control and still charged my card after the fact. I asked for a refund and Sunny was very rude and said no he can not do that. So to this day they still have my money from my account and I was unable to go. Very poor service.

Very OLD property with outdated weathered decor and soiled furnishings. Couch in my room had a huge stain on upholstery, bedroom curtains were badly stained (I thought it was shadow until looked closer), blanket was dirty, and apartment was generally dusty. kitchen was dirty on arrival so I cleaned it also. staff all very friendly; some quite attentive; others polite but ambivalent. internal phone never worked (2 week stay). wifi intermittently didn't work - but was rectified quickly once staff notified (this was a work related stay for me so internet/wifi was essential part of the booking). parking a tad inconvenient (stacker system) - just need to plan your time so car is available which I did and staff were accommodating of this simple things like no soap/shampoo holder in the shower ... (really!).. bottom line: just a really tired old property sold as a jewel in the city which I found misleading (booked through Qantas FF) ADVANTAGES: close to city, comfy bed ,own laundry facilities and rudimentary kitchen. quiet so even though in the city it wasn't noisy. not worth its 4 stars. expensive for the standard of property. 2/5 stars saved by the advantages making it 3/5 at best

There was a structural issue with the room which made the wind absolutely HOWL through the room to a volume that made it absolutely impossible to sleep. It was a bit of a windy night but not gale force or anything. We tried to call reception but the phone in the room did not work. We called the number on our cell phone and the answer phone sad reception was closed and to leave a message. We had no choice by to leave at 3am by Uber and stay in another place. We contacted the hotel and all they could say is that we didn't inform them. When clearly there was no way to. There was no one manning the reception either. We tried 3 methods to contact them! They were just wanting to blame us for everything even when I noted that the consumer guarantees act states that anything you pay for must be fit for purpose, the room was not fit to sleep in! They couldnt care less and kept trying to blame us for not contacting them at 3am, even though we told all the things we did to try to contact them. I don't know who owns this hotel or company, but having worked in management, I would be disgusted to see how this was handled by the staff. We gave them ample time and chance to put things right. They never returned our call as promised the following day either. Hotel room NOT FIT TO STAY IN and customer service an absolute disgrace. I hope that no tourist stays there as this would put them off NZ hospitality. The company should be ashamed!
