Holly House of Hamilton

Last weekend my husband and I had reservations at the Holly House for our anniversary. Upon arrival the thermostat in our room was set on 70, but the temp was 74. They assured us that as the evening progressed the temp would come down. He stated that it was too hot outside to effectively cool. Within 2 hours the temp rose to 77. I called the owner to let him know. He said he didn’t really know what to tell us to do and the only thing he could offer was to bring more fans bc there was no one that would be able to fix the air until the following week. He was very frustrated that we were complaining. He did refund the full amount, but was very rude about it. This will be the last time we stay at the Holly House. I was made to feel like I was in the wrong and that not being willing to stay in a room without air was ridiculous. I’m so sad about the way we were treated bc this has been a special place that my husband and I have stayed at several times the last few years. There is no excuse to treat a guest the way we were treated.

We enjoyed our visit at Holly House of Hamilton. The room was clean with comfortable beds. It was a peaceful place, and the breakfast was great…. Don and Judy made us feel like home. They were very nice, and made sure we had everything we needed.

This is a unique home! From the time we arrived until our departure, Judy and Don took great care to see that we were comfortable. The delicious breakfast is made from scratch each morning and served with great care by Judy and Don dressed in vintage attire and aprons.  Breakfast times are chosen so that you can arrange more privacy or mingle with the hosts and other guests.   The hallway is always stocked with homemade cookies to enjoy as well as tea and water . You can tell that Judy and Don truly love being hosts and it shows in thier hospitality, grounds, and interesting Victorian decor.  Not only is The Holly House  located only a  few miles from Callaway Gardens, Judy shares all the local vintage, antique and other shopping " honey holes" in the area. We feel like we have new friends and can't wait to return.

Super comfortable place, owners are delightful. Breakfast was fresh cooked to order, this is a fun B&B. I wish we could have stayed longer! Close enough to Callaway gardens. Give them a look if needing good lodging while in the area. We will return soon!

What a gem! Judy and Don could not have been more hospitable. I have to say this is probably my favorite B&B we've ever stayed in and I hope we have the chance to return. You are greeted by Don who gives you a run down of the fabulous home. The charm of this home is unbelievable. Judy, who dresses in Victorian dress is so warm and welcoming. Both my husband and I slept sound and woke up to a very tasty breakfast, made to order. My husband and I were travelling to Pensacola. We stayed there on the way down and the way back. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful home.

We walked right in to our very own Hallmark movie. The place was adorable and perfect in every way. From the precious hosts, the delicious breakfast, the beautiful Victorian decor, the cozy porches and rooms and that buttery fluffy made bed….. All of it! We loved it all and will be back and back and back.

Wonderful place to stay when visiting all things Callaway. Don and Judy were wonderful hosts. The house is so charming, so much to see. Breakfast both mornings was delicious with unexpected choices. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, watching old movies in the living room while enjoying evening coffee and freshly baked peanut butter cookies. Stay here, you'll be glad you did.

Such a charming bed and breakfast! The hosts are so welcoming and kind. The hosts new the history of the home snd shared it. The room (celebration) was comfortable and cozy. The cookies were a delicious addition for a snack. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I stayed here for a quick get away to visit Pine Mountain. This incredible Victorian home is a treasure. Don and Judy are the ultimate hosts and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the history of the home and felt like we were back in time. Everything was clean and the room was so comfortable. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were so full we didn't eat lunch! We definitely recommend Holly House of Hamilton.
