Thirsk

This hotel was reasonably priced, yet still had lovely amenities. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I was pleased that the room had both a tub and a shower. We enjoyed being able to soak in a tub after a long day. The hot breakfast had good variety and was enjoyable. I will plan to stay at Premier Inns in the future when I travel. I felt welcome and at home there.

Perfect stay, you know what you're getting at a great price. Nice to have a decent restaurant on site. Easy to find, friendly staff with smiles. We didn't feel in the way when we sat and talked for hours. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with everything you need.

Let me start by saying the staff and food (breakfasts & Dinners), were excellent, so why the 1 star review? We were in room 001 in the ground flor, and everything was as expected until it came to time for bed. the side of the mattress nearest the window, had a vey bad dip (when any weight was on it), which made sleep very uncomfortable, I don't normally have trouble sleeping. I told the manger the next day and she said they would look but couldn't do anything other than turn the mattress which would have affected my wife's side. After another 2nd bad night, as we checked out, the manger gave me the number to call regarding the good night sleep guarantee. I called the number the next day and the agent told me, because they are silentnight mattress', i wasn't covered, even if the mattress was damaged!

Good stay in general, location 5 min drive into Thirsk centre. Staff friendly and efficiently run. Stayed on first floor, could hear thudding and footsteps regularly from second floor room above, which is poor design for a modern building and disturbed sleep. Nice and clean, bar very edges of bathroom floor which had a build up of dust around edges. Bed comfortable with nice white crisp bedding.

Thirsk PI is in a good, quiet location, with friendly, helpful, and kind staff. I’d particularly like to mention and praise Megan. My friends and I were checked in with a warm welcome, a friendly smile, and a can do attitude. She went to great lengths to make sure we were looked after, and had everything we needed. Three members of staff were off due to illness which put a lot of pressure on Megan, but you’d never know it. She booked us in for an evening meal, and went on to serve it to us herself due to the staff shortages. After a long and tiring journey, being met by her was a delight. Thank you Megan. Well done!

You have to pay for parking at this site, even if you're disabled but it was at a reasonable price of £3. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and tidy. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed our stay. We would return here and also recommend.
