Hotels in Gora/Sengokuhara, Hakone

It takes about half an hour to take a bus from Hakone-Yumoto Station to the hotel opposite the bus stop. There are only ordinary rooms for single occupancy, which are super large, quiet and convenient. The hot springs are small but very clean. The whole hotel gives people a relaxing feeling. Opposite the hotel is a convenience store and a restaurant. , just a few minutes walk to the Forest of Glass Museum

Hotel Indigo was recommended to us by a co-worker. She raved about how much she enjoy her stay, so we decided to visit for our Anniversary. We loved everything about this hotel from check in to check out, everything was amazing. The hotel staff always made us feel welcome, by greeting us (by name most of the time) whenever we were out and about in the hotel. Hannah checked us in. She was nice and provided us with information about the area. We had the breakfast included in our stay. The restaurant manager Koji-san was awesome. While not a picky eater, I do like my eggs cooked a certain way...lol.. On the first day of breakfast, my eggs were not cooked to my liking. When my plate was taken, Koji-san noticed that I did not eat my eggs. He immediately came to our table and inquired about the eggs. I told him that they were too soft for me. He apologized and asked if I had enough to eat and said that he would like to try again the next morning. I thought this was such a kind gesture. For the next 4 days, my eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It is a bit pricey, but the chef is very good. The salmon and asparagus were my favorites. Our anniversary was on the 22nd and we received a call from the front desk asking if they could bring us a gift for our anniversary. They brought us an assortment of sweet treats, which we enjoyed with a cup of tea. Very sweet. Our room was spacious, clean with the perfect temperature. The television was the largest that I have seen a Japanese hotel. Our room was on the riverside with a private outdoor onsen. While relaxing in the onsen, you can hear the calming sounds of the river. There is also a foot soak in the garden area. it was a bit to cold outside for me, so I didn't get to enjoy it on this stay. The hotel was cleaned thoroughly and safety precautions were taken. All of staff wore masks and for breakfast, we were provided with gloves to get continental items from the buffet. All tables were wiped down immediately after a party left and were socially distanced. The hotel is in close proximity to just about everything. During our 5 day stay, we visited The Open Air Museum, the Venetian Glass Garden, Gora Park, and The Red Gate of Peace. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next stay in the Spring.

The boss is very good, and the explanation from the accommodation to the route is very detailed. When you get off at Xianxiang Louqian Bus Station, you will see the signs of their home. Many buses from Tangben or Qiangluo can be reached. On the right is the Little Prince Art Museum. The left rear is the Glass Forest. The location is very convenient. The little prince has two small supermarkets in the past. I really hope to stay longer, and I haven’t strolled in many places. It’s quite like a big mountainous area like the Jingshan Scenic Area in China. It can be visited for many days. The buffet breakfast of 810 yen has a lot of foreigners who have to eat at home. The outdoor hot springs add 500 yen. If you are outside, you can soak in the room. Anyway, no more than 30 minutes. Enjoy yourself. If you don't wear it, you don't want to wear it. Although the water doesn't seem to change much, it seems that there is water circulation. It is the hot spring that I feel the fastest. I may have sulfur.

An amazing mountain town retreat, worth staying to relax after a few intense days in Tokyo. A lovely hotel, the team are super friendly and willing to help (one particular young lady who was there during our entire stay in bordeaux red work attire, working mainly in and around the lobby). She ensured everything we asked for was catered for, be it drinks in the evening in the bar (with footbath), to guiding us to our table or booking the private onsen. Really appreciated her service and assisted us with check out today 14 Oct. Next to great views, the beds are very very comfortable and the food is good interesting and daily changing. To get the true experience wear the Yukata the hotel provides in all public areas for breakfast, dinner and the use of spa facilities. The hotel provides a great place to explore the region, with cable car and ropeway over the mountain to lake Ashi but also walking opportunities.

The hotel is very new, but the location is a bit remote! But the hot spring is very good, separate for men and women, there are indoor and outdoor, it is a real hot spring!

Pleasantly surprised by the large room we got, with an enclosed balcony overlooking the lush green valley. Spacious bathroom. Clean room. Excellent onsite onsen - enjoyed the experience. Lovely dining areas and sushi restaurant. Free pickup from Odawara Shinkansen station (45 min ride to hotel). Hotel offers free dropoff and pickup to local train station so you can comfortably take the cable car to Lake Ashi. Highly recommend the cable car, boat across Lake Ashi and Hakone's open air museum.

The location is very convenient, clean and tidy, and there are washing and drying facilities. The large balcony upstairs has an unbeatable view.

Excellent Location, Less than 5 mins walk from the Hakone-Yamoto station. Little expensive, but we got a spacious room with 4 futon beds. We had booked(email) private baths on the day of arrival. One of the most memorable stays of our trip

We were greeted by hotel staff upon arrival. We were not given the option to select dinner time, which was set at 8pm which was late when compared with counterparts. We were only given the option to change to 5pm on the subsequent night, which was not convenient for us. The arrangement for who gets to be seated with the forest view or not is unknown and strange. On the first night we were seated at a room without a view, which was stuffy and adjacent tables full of uncleared dishes which give rise to an unpleasant odour. The other customers sitting in the room was served food all at once encompassing shabu shabu, while sashimi bowl was offered as a buffet. We were offered a forest view on the second night. Food was served according to courses, which was average and sashimi offered was similar to what was offered in the buffet though in large pieces. Breakfast was better with Japanese and western foods available. Rooms and onsens were nice. Recommend only choose the room only option as food was really not up to standard when compared to other Japanese counterparts.
