Superb, the most satisfying hot spring hotel in this trip to Japan. The water quality of the hot spring is excellent. You can see a lot of sulfur floating on the surface. Accommodation and meals were excellent. Quaint accommodation, onsen, meals were all great. Staff were very friendly, heard it is a historic accommodation but it is well preserved and a very nice place in many ways.

I made a last-minute plan to go to Hakone for a hot spring bath while on a business trip from Tokyo. It was more beautiful than I expected! It just so happened that the hotel has a 360-year history limit, and every trace of history is revealed, which is very interesting! The service staff were very nice. The gentleman who checked us in and the ********* lady made us feel very friendly! The food is exquisite and delicious, and the portions are huge!
