The room faced the sea, and I could see the ocean as soon as I entered, which was lovely. The room was also very clean. This hotel is perfect for traveling with friends. The front desk service was excellent too. I'll definitely come again! 😄

The room is quite spacious, and being on a high floor, you get direct sea views. For the same price, it's an absolute steal compared to Sanya. The most important thing is that the housekeeping lady, Auntie Wu Yumei, is incredibly kind. This five-star review is for her! 😃

The room had a beautiful sea view and the bed was comfortable. The dim sum downstairs was delicious and seemed popular with locals too. It was also very close to the beach, just a short walk across the road. There's a mall nearby and the hotel even sells travel essentials, which was very convenient.

Facilities: Great! A bit old, but for this price, what more could you ask for? The only issue was one bedside lamp was broken. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; after 4 days and 3 nights, my back felt perfectly fine. I didn't even get a chance to ask what brand it was. Hygiene: Excellent, with a few minor imperfections. Service: The customer service auntie was incredibly enthusiastic and flawless. I genuinely felt her professional attitude of "serving you" came from the heart, and I'm very grateful! However, at check-in, she seemed a bit tired. Her demeanor was gentle, but she only briefly mentioned breakfast. I also noticed the complimentary Qilou photo shoot service wasn't explained or offered, and I was too lazy to ask and make a reservation. This could be improved... Environment: Very close to the sea, but the weather wasn't great, so the sea view was quite ordinary. I absolutely loved the room design, and all the amenities were very comprehensive. These are my honest personal feelings. Overall, the stay was very smooth!

It's decent, but the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are dated. However, you do get a sea view. The location is a bit secluded, with not many dining options nearby. For the price, a sea-view room isn't bad.

A very unpleasant stay. I arrived at around 7 AM and was asked to pay an extra 200 yuan for early check-in. I've had early check-ins at other hotels before, and if there was an available room, they'd arrange it without extra charge. So, if I check out at 9 AM, before the standard 12 PM, should I get a partial refund on my room rate? Secondly, we booked four rooms for nine people, all including breakfast. The staff closely monitored the number of people, and because one extra person was a second-grader, they insisted we pay an additional 78 yuan (the breakfast quality was nothing to write home about, by the way). When I called the front desk for more bottled water, the staff informed me that each room was only allowed four bottles, implying extra bottles would be charged. This is precisely why domestic mid-to-high-end hotels are thriving – these situations typically don't occur at brands like Hanting Premium, Intercity, Crystal Orange, Atour, Hampton by Hilton, etc., where bottled water is freely available in corridors and elevator lobbies. Service: Just average. Cleanliness: I saw a cleaning lady using the same rag for both the room and the bathroom? I didn't see if she cleaned the toilet. One of the rooms had a very foul-smelling bathroom; the cleaner fiddled with it for a bit, but the smell returned shortly after. Facilities: It's an old hotel with terrible soundproofing; you can hear everything happening outside. Environment: If it weren't for the good location and sea view, I wouldn't give it any stars.

The Holiday Inn Express Haikou West Coast boasts an excellent location with stunning sea views from its ocean-view rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are warm and attentive. The breakfast spread offers a great variety. With fantastic pool and beach facilities, it's a wonderful vacation experience. I'll definitely be back!
