"Got to hotel at 8 pm in pouring rain and was told that my reservation did not exist. Had made a reservation with my credit card and was told that if I needed to cancel it - I had to do it within 48 hours before the date of stay - i never cancelled. When I got to the hotel I was made to stand in the rain and was told they don’t take credit cards they only take cash…. And that they were booked and had no rooms available. This is unacceptable, I am a 83 year old woman traveling with my daughter to a new state at night - we spent an hour till 9 pm trying to find a room - in an unfamiliar neighborhood- in the pouring rain - in the dark parking lot of the Knight Inn- and we were left with nowhere to go. Shame on a business who takes advantage of elderly people."
