In the context of a scientific event, I had the chance to stay one full week at the ANA Crowne Plaza Resort. They took care of all the little issues I had during my stay, promptly and without any discussion. I additionally appreciated the “eco-friendly programme” that is offered, in which coupons are provided in exchange of ”no-cleaning room days”. The amenities in the hotel (public baths, souvenir shops, ski rental station) are spot on to make the stay perfect. I would however like to mention that it could even be better with a bar that stays open late (at least until midnight), as this would have prevented me from having to go to the next hotel to get a drink with my colleague. Maybe the bar from the hotel was closed because of the time in the season? Concerning the room I got, it is spacious and comfortable, super clean, although furniture and facilities are a bit old-style. Renewing the bathroom material could be a good item to put on the hotel to-do list, as well as making the room a bit more soundproof and insulated. This would hence prevent cigarette smoke from entering into the room from the outside. Moreover, whereas the bed was very comfortable and allowed for a propre relaxation time after a busy day with work and skiing, I got awakened by the noisy engines of the snow groomers several times during my stay (which is annoying, especially at 5:00 AM). Therefore, I would rank my experience as an average one (neither particularly good nor bad).

This time I booked Arts Color, but I actually lived in the main building of the boss's other restaurant Life is Beautful( It should be called Beautiful Life~), the homestay is about10-15 minutes walk from Anbi Ski Resort & Bailu Hot Spring, not too far away, the key homestay dinner seems simple, but super delicious, there is a French restaurant standard, In the morning 8-9 o'clock & afternoon 16-17 there is a free welcome (Anbi Station or Anbi Ski Resort), B1 there is a loan cut wind, just like the size of Yangming Mountain's personal hot spring, but it is really relaxing to soak after skiing the snow. There is also a beautiful and atmospheric API House bread cafe opposite the hotel. There is a ROCKY BBQ restaurant next door. On this night in the countryside, such a store has been counted a lot, because there is really no nightlife here at this night. You can consider going to the Bailu Hot Spring for a soup (open until 23:00). This is a personal trip. The cost of one berth and two meals is NT2100/day. As written in many reviews, the water quality of the hot spring was really good. Plenty of hot water was flowing, and I was satisfied with both the indoor and outdoor baths. Even after getting out of the hot spring, my body was warm and warm, and although it was a chilly day, I fell asleep comfortably. Although it was November, there were a few stink bugs in the room, but I wonder if it can't be helped because it's deep in the mountains... The room was old but clean. Both kamameshi and sukiyaki were delicious, but the seafood cheese fondue was rich and had kamameshi, but it was served like a risotto over white rice. I was satisfied with the volume as well. However, the ice cream and matcha mousse of the buffet style dessert was not good. Breakfast was quite crowded, so I was worried, but it seems that corona measures were taken, so I was relieved. I enjoyed both rice and croissants, and I ate too much because there was a wide variety. I was very grateful for the takeout coffee service.

The experience was superb! The onsen was good and relaxing. I love that they provide yogurt drink and ice lolly. There is also complimentary soba noodles at 9:30pm. What is more important is that they have free laundry and that the status of the machines can be viewed on TV!

A huge thank you to the reception staff who managed to swap our room quickly and without fuss. Hotel is well located and comfortable. Rooms are clean and the higher floors offer good city views.

Is it about 3 minutes walk from the station? The first floor is 7-Eleven and each floor has a vending machine, which is great convenience. The room I used is a Kitakami River flowing under the eye and the heart is calm. The cleanliness, amenities and size were perfect. Breakfast was mainly Japanese with Viking, but this was enough. I always decided to eat Japanese food because it seems to be good when eating western food mainly, but it looks delicious. It's strange.

The rooms and lobby were clean and I was satisfied, but the floor in the breakfast room was sticky and there were dishes left unwashed, which made it feel unsanitary and the food tasted bad. Also, I was in trouble because there were no toiletries such as face wash and lotion for women.

There is an inn at "Tsunagi Onsen" along Lake Gosho near Koiwai Farm. You can see Mt. Iwate on the lakeside, but unfortunately it is located in the back of the mountain, so you cannot see Lake Gosho from the inn. It was a calm 3-story Japanese-style inn, and it was a reasonable size, and it was very easy to move around the dining area and bath. The selected room has a bed, so it's nice to be able to lie down right away! The supper you are looking for is kaiseki cuisine, which also comes with shell sea urchin! It's not a private room, but the Heian period? It was partitioned into. I was able to enjoy it slowly and very deliciously. The temperature of the bath was so good that it wasn't lukewarm, and the open air surrounded by trees was slowly created. The service and greetings of the employees are also comfortable, and it has become a ryokan that I definitely recommend.
