Very good hotel for exploring the region around Sigiria.
In 20 minutes you can get to Lion Rock and safafis can be booked at the hotel or from providers in front of the hotel.
The food is great, the pool is big, the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly.
You can easily spend 2 pleasant days here on a round trip.
I'd love to come back!

Great hotel set amongst lovely grounds with gardens and swimming pool Buffet dining with a generous selection of food. Staff all very friendly and very willing to help. Our room boy Niranga did an excellent job. Would definitely stay again

My partner and I had a wonderfully relaxing four days at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana. We booked for half board in a superior twin room (breakfast and dinner buffet included). Coming directly from Colombo airport we were able to check in early as our flight was delayed from Australia thanks to the reception staff managing this request. The room was comfortable and large. Good bed and pillows too, slept like a baby. Wifi was fine, slowed down a bit during hotel bust periods but not a big deal, it was good enough to do general website surfing, but streaming high def video may struggle a bit. The buffet was brilliant, large selection of Sri Lankan, other Asian and western options. The hospitality and housekeeping staff (shout out to Tyronne and the hopper station ladies ❤️) were attentive and always willing to help. The lodge presents a well curated and relaxing environment. The pool was large and clean. Well positioned for the local cultural sites and nearby township had ample restaurants and convenience stores.

It’s a colonial style hotel located in a large, well maintained garden. The welcome is warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Breakfast and dinner are served in buffet style with a huge variety of food items with several food items . Desserts and perishable items a re hold in a separate cooling room. Taste Dodd is amazing.
