We had a relaxing two-day break at this lovely hotel recently. The very large garden area bordering the lake is absolutely beautiful, particularly if you love big trees, lots of greenery, birds and the peaceful tranquility of being close to nature. It is a wonderful place for long walks, specially early in the morning when the birds are waking up and the sun is not too hot. Food was great, our room was spacious and comfortable (we specially liked the open air shower) and service was top class. Night time entertainment was also nice and relaxing. I would really like the management to have a laid-down policy to manage the community animals (cats and dogs) that roam within the large area of the hotel grounds. Take care of them by sterilising and vaccinating them, and regularly deworm and treat them for ticks and mites. You can even have a hotel mascot cat and dog! Many guests like to pet these stray animals and if large hotel chains like Cinnamon can follow the playbook of hotels in Ella which have in-house dogs it would be a great service for the beautiful and friendly community cats and dogs of Sri Lanka and a wonderful stress-reliever for animal-loving guests at your hotels.

First of all I must mention the excellent customer service provided by the staff. It was beyond expectations. Mr Asanka, the manager was helpful throughout the stay as well as the prior to the stay. The location is a gem. Every one of my family enjoyed a lot including my kid with the serene and green environment. Food was delicious and the buffet spread was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nicely arranged. WiFi was faster than other hotels too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay calm and quiet.

Absolutely a serene location with a friendly staff and outstanding food. Perfect for a family, office or friends getaway, get together! The service at the restaurant is excellent. Hope the senior management develops a more animal friendly attitude: though there clearly is no animal cruelty there could clearly be more care given to the “ community animals “ who are there in the property. Caring neutering and tolerance would be a better approach. Learn from Ella and Galle Fort

Una struttura meravigliosa!!! Posizione bellissima immersa nella natura. Camere ampie e pulite, personale gentilissimo, ristorante ottimo... la consigliamo assolutamente! Ringraziamo in particolare Salika, Imalka, Ruwan per il loro servizio ai tavoli, sempre gentili, disponibili e sorridenti. Ringraziamo lo chef Adisha, bravissimo e molto disponibile nello spiegarci ogni singola portata. Un ringraziamento anche a Perera, Presanna, Keradi per le camere sempre pulite e ordinate. Grazie a tutti...siamo stati benissimo!!
