A welcoming hostel with smiling and nice receptionnists. I found it perfect if you planned to do the Ha Giang Loop (they also can help you to book visits and rent a motorbike). Furthermore, you can let your extra luggage at the hostel while doing "the loop" and even have a shower and a meal at the return, before leaving (very enjoyable when you take a night bus to another city).
More negative point: if you are not in a VIP room (that's the name of more expensive rooms I guess), you won't have a window, just shutters, so turn on the air-conditioning to avoid mosquitoes during the night! I don't know for VIP room but for basic ones, you'll share the bathroom with others customers.

The location is good in Hajang. It's a little off the main road, so it's quiet and nice. There's a swimming pool, so you can cool off. All the staff are very friendly. The free breakfast is also delicious. There's a restaurant in the hostel, so you can eat and drink juice without going far. I couldn't do the Hajang route at Odyssey Hostel this trip, but I'll definitely do it next year with a friend. I'll rest comfortably. I think it would be nice if there was a mirror and an electric kettle in the room. 🥰

My best friend and I booked a night there before going to do Ha Giang Loop and we loved it so much that we booked another night after coming back from the loop 🥰 All the stuff is really friendly and helpful! Breakfast and drinks are included when booking a room. The pool was very clean! Rooms and shared bathroom was actually pretty clean for a hostel and considering the location! They had few board games, billiard and karaoke as entertainment for guests. We also booked a tour through them and had the best time of our life with great guide and drivers! Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
