Hotels Near Tomb of King Heungdeok in Gyeongju

First of all, the location is so good. But I can hear the sound of water droplets and the sound of water flowing in the room from start to finish, in the early morning. Stop by the sound of lighting and turning off in the next room ㅋㅋ.. So I left two texts to the boss, and the boss didn't get in touch. I visited after seeing the review that it was clean and I thought it was the best. Even if it's 150,000 won for a car, it's really a place where 150,000 won is worth it...

We had a great time here at Hotel Palace. The hotel itself is close to all attractions (walking distance) and also easy to reach by bus. Other than expected, we could check in earlier than 5pm (which I found pretty late) without charging anything! Also, all facilities were super clean and the room itself quite big. As others already mentioned, everyone can use the cafeteria to make ramen, coffee and get water FOR FREE - liked this a lot. Breakfast was simple but good (toast, jam, peanut butter, Joghurt, fruit) and I think if you come prior to guests taking everything for themselves- there will be enough from everything also for you. I fully recommend this place- only thing which would be great were big towels for showers.

Quite a challenge to go to the actual hotel as the area had endless turns - but thanks to Naver Map, that's been taken care of. The staff at the front desk helped us with the adapter, so thank you for that! The property was clean and well-maintained, and easy to go around as the bus stops are nearby.

The cleaning is not that good. Dust balls are rolling around on the bed shelf, and they are still there for 3 days from the time you check in until the time you check out. There is a swimming pool, so I do not recommend going there to rest since the kids run around a lot. I wonder who came up with the hotel structure design. If you want to go for a walk on the lake, you have to get off the elevator on the 1st floor and go down the stairs one floor, or go across to the restaurant on the B1 floor (it is blocked, so it is practically impossible), or go around the building on the 1st floor. The structure makes it difficult for the elderly, those using strollers or wheelchairs, or those with impaired legs to even walk on the lake. The fitness center on the B2 floor has a lot of good equipment, but it is only accessible by stairs, so it is difficult for the elderly to go up and down the stairs. To be honest, the fitness center is very good compared to other hotels. They even have a trainer. Of course, you have to pay a fee for the session. If you lose your card key, it is 5,000 won.

Pleasantly surprised with the location and room amenities, charging cables, bidet, LG Tromm Styler, BIG beds, located 4 min from key bus stops and 20 min walk from Hwangnidan and other attractions. The area is also v safe for female travellers although at a first glance it's along a row of motels that seemed dodgey. While hotel staff didn't speak fluent English they did their best to help out and we always courteous and patient. Our stay here made the trip to Gueongju even better!

Good location, friendly and professional customer service, but the breakfast was very basic comparing to other Dormy Inns in Japan that we stayed in.

I stayed at the Commodore Hotel from May 7th to May 9th 2019on a trip to South Korea with a French group of nineteen people from Arts et Vie; being single I paid quite a large supplement to have a single room ,which I don't regret at all; my room was very large, very clean with all the necessary amenities;the bathroom was perfect ;the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful with sending photos on my smartphone to my family in France; i could change French euros to korean wons at a very good rate; yhe breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice:I really enjoyed the different kind of salads with the kiwi sauce! and the seaw****! Ienyoyed the cosy ,a little outdated atmosphere of the lobby and listening to the Philippine guitarist and singer while sipping a glass of chile wine at the cafe in thelobby .The surroundings of the hotel are great :it's so relaxing walking on the illuminated paths around the lake at sunsetlistening to music among Korean families enjoying the evening out; My only regret is that the pool was closed ,but I swam in Busan main beach 2 days later! Thank you for such a nice stay at the Commodore Hotel and tell the receptionist that the postcards I left at the reception have all arrived to their destination in France :Many Thanks for taking them to the post office; i will definitely come back to the Commodore hotel in Gyeongju on my next trip to Korea

I visited Gyeongju to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and chose the Hilton. Despite being on a low floor, the lake view outside the window is truly the best. There is no doubt that it is an international chain hotel representing Gyeongju. However, I wish the employees would smile a little brighter when serving customers. There was no greeting from the front desk, concierge, or doorman. If APEC 2025 is hosted in Gyeongju, world leaders will visit Hilton, so service improvement is clearly needed.

I went to Busan and had some vacation time left, so I suddenly went to Gyeongju. But I won't go to Busan anymore... This place is so so so nice.. I fell in love with Gyeongju and the accommodation. First of all, when I went to the front desk, I was impressed by the free upgrade to the ocean view when I signed up for Best Western membership, and the view was also great. If you apply for breakfast in advance, it's 18,000 won per person. It's just a breakfast buffet. It's delicious. The downside is that the air conditioner blows directly onto the bed.. I think there was a wind visor, but why did it disappear? + There's no internet TV. Other than that, it was a really nice accommodation, and if you want to drink or something, there's a pojangmacha street called Shilla's Moonlight Street, which is about a 10-minute walk away.
