Lovely, clean, quiet property. Proprietor kindly waited up for me after late/delayed flight. Gwinn is a cute if sleepy town. Close to airport but taxi cost more than Marquette bc less demand. (Be warned, no ride shares in UP, despite Uber's false advertising.)

Pros:
Nice room with cute decorating. Very clean and comfortable.
Cons:
(1) Unusual absence of amenities typically found in hotel rooms these days such as a coffee maker (which meant there was no decaf coffee available in the building, even at breakfast) and lack of room hair dryer, although one could be borrowed at front desk.
(2) When attempting to check out, some guests had to wait while the desk clerk smoked a cigarette outside and talked on the phone. Not a good look, especially during a busy time.

This is my second stay in a week. The first time did not disappoint do I choose it again on my return. The rooms are so warm and comfortable. The beds are a dream to sleep on. Everything is clean and neat. And the decor is excellent. Highly recommend if you are fortunate enough to be in this area of the country.

We only stayed here one night and chose this hotel as it is the closest lodging to the MQT airport (only 10 minutes away). The front desk agent we interacted with was very friendly. The room itself was clean, but we did find a beetle crawling around. The bed itself was comfortable and the shower was very good. The theme of the room was VERY patriotic. We didn't get to try the breakfast due to the early departure of our flight. Really, the only negative I could say is that I think the cost was a bit much for the hotel, but we'd probably stay here again before an early morning flight from MQT.

The most accommodating hotel I have ever stayed at. Both of the check-in ladies went out of their way to make our two nights as comfortable as possible. The ‘apartment’ was spacious, clean and had everything I could have possibly needed. Would I stay there again? You betcha!
