The motel is old but the rooms have been renovated. Very clean, comfortable beds & the manager most helpful. As we had takeaway pizza, the manager supplied dinner plates & wine glasses for our use. Bathroom good size. Between 2 main roads but quiet.

Gulgong Motel is in a good location within easy walking distance to places to eat and visit. I liked the location as it was not right in the main street but in a much quieter area. Our room was a great size and clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and a really affordable price. I would stay here again for sure if I was heading back to Gulgong in the future. It is a lovely little town and well worth a visit. The people are every friendly and the town is lovely and clean and plenty to see.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Due to emotions I booked the wrong night on a booking site. All it took was a phone call to the most patient staff member ever. He transferred the booking to the night I actually wanted without any questions. The room was clean, roomy and modern. Easy parking and easy check in.

Comfortable stay, excellent room, spacious and comfortable. No restaurant but only 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. Had a trailer and there was plenty of parking for it there. Lady at reception was very pleasant. Gulgong is better value than motels in Mudgee and this is the place to stay there.

Our room was very compact, but was OK for the night. Bed very comfortable; bathroom was modern. Very easy stroll to Mayne Street. The owner was quite friendly and eager to please. We would stay here again because when visiting Gulgong we are mostly out of the room and visiting the historic buildings. The pool looked good, so families with kids would probably be very happy in the hotter months.

Welcoming staff, clean room with comfortable king bed. Renovated bathroom with plenty of towels and plunger toiletries. Would have loved some plates and cutlery as we had takeaway from the Thai which was nice to watch the Matildas. Quiet motel.

Very unpretentious and plain on the outside but the room I had was well set up and comfortable. The bathroom was large with everything needed. Plenty of parking. An easy walk to eating places. I was only there for one night but I was more than happy. Very friendly staff.

Great motel with exceptional service of the staff, nice clean rooms and motel facilities and good location with a close proximity to the restaurants and parks in the town. Definitely recommending to others!
