Honestly, I would take the Prem Inn experience over this one any day. Set in beautiful grounds it looks like it should be a high class experience, but is not. Staff are helpful and friendly and pull it all together covering the cracks in a stay here. Executive rooms are a joke, don’t waste your time or money as there is nothing executive about them. Windows don’t have nets to let light in so you left between a choice of blinds or thick curtains which block out the light and stop you from being able to enjoy the one thing they have going for them, the surrounding scenery. Food would be at best passable if it wasn’t so expensive. A real disappointment. Wifi was constantly intermittent. The rooms are paper thin resulting in a poor night sleep even if people are talking quietly in the corridor as they walk by. Decoration is like something from the 70’s.

The experience of staying just one night far exceeded my expectations - not only were the staff very professional and attentive, providing a warm welcome but the room was also immaculate and very tasty cooked breakfast first rate. The hotel is located in a great spot with lovely walks on the Mount close by (amazing views and great sunsets). I will be definitely booking again, making this my Hotel of choice on future visits and will be wishing for longer than one night too - having been spoilt for choice with such an appetising menu, good local bottled beer and a nice vibe. Certainly feel valued and appreciated as a customer at this hotel.

We were visiting Worplesdon for a Golden Wedding party. Our friends recommended the Asperion Hillside and we were not disappointed. A couple of minor issues were effectively and quickly sorted, and particular thanks go to Lily on reception, Derek at breakfast and owner Daniel. We loved the immaculate garden with its lovely fish pond where we sat and enjoyed the sunny September morning before we left for the lunch party.

we have stayed at this hotel a few years ago but it has recently been refurbished, some odd choices of decor! Our room was very nice and the addition of bottles of water was a nice touch. There were no tissues in the room and the towels were a strange choice, they needed to be bigger and i always like white, fluffy towels at hotels and these were grey and not fluffy. The buffet at breakfast was ample but the addition of some fresh fruit and pastries would be good. Dinner was good but the service was very slow and they were obviously busy and understaffed, which i know is a problem in hospitality at the moment. the staff were all very helpful, although the taxi booked for us had a minimum charge of £20 and we were going on a 5 minute trip, I would have been grateful for this information.

Hygiene: It’s pretty clean (I didn’t look carefully at night)
Environment: I live in Room 66 on the first floor. Outside the window are the parking lot, corridor and garbage station;
Service: On the day of check-in, I encountered a group of people having a party in the parking lot outside the room window. They made a lot of noise in the parking lot. I couldn't stand it and went to the front desk to ask for a room change. They were told that the room was full and they didn't do anything. It didn't quiet down until two o'clock.

Dinner for two was lovely, stayed overnight with dinner and brew included. Elisa who served was fantastic, made us feel very welcome and couldn’t have been more accommodating, the extra effort made the evening very enjoyable. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

Environment: I live in Room 66 on the first floor. Outside the window are the parking lot, corridor and garbage station;
Service: On the day of check-in, I encountered a group of people having a party in the parking lot outside the room window. They made a lot of noise in the parking lot. I couldn't stand it and went to the front desk to ask for a room change. They were told that the room was full and they didn't do anything. It didn't quiet down until two o'clock.

We were visiting Worplesdon for a Golden Wedding party. Our friends recommended the Asperion Hillside and we were not disappointed. A couple of minor issues were effectively and quickly sorted, and particular thanks go to Lily on reception, Derek at breakfast and owner Daniel. We loved the immaculate garden with its lovely fish pond where we sat and enjoyed the sunny September morning before we left for the lunch party.

The experience of staying just one night far exceeded my expectations - not only were the staff very professional and attentive, providing a warm welcome but the room was also immaculate and very tasty cooked breakfast first rate. The hotel is located in a great spot with lovely walks on the Mount close by (amazing views and great sunsets). I will be definitely booking again, making this my Hotel of choice on future visits and will be wishing for longer than one night too - having been spoilt for choice with such an appetising menu, good local bottled beer and a nice vibe. Certainly feel valued and appreciated as a customer at this hotel.

Honestly, I would take the Prem Inn experience over this one any day. Set in beautiful grounds it looks like it should be a high class experience, but is not. Staff are helpful and friendly and pull it all together covering the cracks in a stay here. Executive rooms are a joke, don’t waste your time or money as there is nothing executive about them. Windows don’t have nets to let light in so you left between a choice of blinds or thick curtains which block out the light and stop you from being able to enjoy the one thing they have going for them, the surrounding scenery. Food would be at best passable if it wasn’t so expensive. A real disappointment. Wifi was constantly intermittent. The rooms are paper thin resulting in a poor night sleep even if people are talking quietly in the corridor as they walk by. Decoration is like something from the 70’s.
