This was a very comfortable, clean and charming hotel. They had very friendly and helpful staff. There were plenty of outlets in the room. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed the pancakes, the crab benedict, avocado toast with eggs and the yogurt with granola.

Don’t stay here - you won’t be able to sleep and if you dare to ask for quiet staff will verbally insult you. Stayed here on Saturday night with my partner. All was well until 11pm when a group outside were being loud, coming in and out of the pub slamming doors. It got to 1am when I leaned out the window to ask them to be quiet. I was told to F off and that they would in a few hours. They finally went quiet at 3am. Some of them drove off so assume some of them were drink driving which is incredibly smart. Checking the pubs social media today and turns out it was a group of staff that made the comment. Absolutely unbelievable. When I asked the manager about this in the morning he fobbed me off and couldn’t care less. Clearly knew it was staff! Offered nothing in terms of an apology. To top it off when checking in with my female partner the manager felt the need to ask if we intended to book a double room. It’s 2024 - who even asks that.

This was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again. Everything was excellent: our room was spacious, all staff were very friendly and attentive, food was great and the outside setting was lovely with a stream running by next to the seating area.

Heerlijk daar ,erg vriendelijk personeel en een fijne kamer alles wat je nodig hebt. De ligging was ook prima,hebben gewandeld en een mooi omgeving. Het ontbijt was erg lekker en hebben ook 1 keren het diner gebruikt,was erg lekker. Echt een aanrader

Charming and spacious restaurant in this quiet Surrey village near Guildford. Being warm sunny evening we had an outside table yards away from the Tillingbourne stream edging the garden. All very peasant and helped by the friendly and attentive staff. There is car parking on site although we easily grabbed a space in the road outside. Food was good and plentiful with prices you expect in this area. Recommended.

An attractive building in a pretty village. The rooom was large, and charmingly decorated and furnished. However you'll be living out of your suitcase. There was one short hanging rail, but not a cupboard or drawer in sight. The restaurant is pricey but the food and service are excellent, with a decent choice for vegetarians.

Absolutely delicious breakfasts and excellent flat whites (love good coffee) eaten beside the river in the spring sunshine. Highly recommend the vegetarian full English. Completely clean plates, everything delicious. Attentive, friendly and prompt service. Thank-you, we’ll be back soon.

We stayed for one night. The room (5) we had was good but in truth nothing special. It was quiet, away from both the road and the pub. What made the stay was the Drummond team who were wonderful, a very good breakfast and last but not least the wonderful location. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Very poor quality food late afternoon on a Sunday. Food was luke warm, pastry soggy, yorkshires soggy, roast potatoes poor. Poor flavour. The service was slow and mediocre. Lack of choice on the menu.
