City Comfort Inn (Guangzhou Railway Station, Sanyuanli Metro Station)

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. At this price, I don't ask for perfection, but at least it should be safe and clean. 1. There is a peculiar smell in the lobby. As soon as I entered the lobby, a smell similar to spicy strips hit my nose. I could smell it every time I went in and out. 2. The door is difficult to lock. On the first day, when I just stepped into the room, the door could not be locked. We asked the front desk whether we could change rooms because we stayed for 5 days, not 1-2 days. They sent the security uncle to demonstrate the "locking skills" for us (I found it very difficult, and I had to adjust a certain angle every time to successfully lock it), and then told us that it was just difficult to lock and there was no need to change rooms. 3. Things in the room disappeared. We left early on the morning of the second day of our stay. During this time, the cleaning staff came in to clean. He helped us make the bed and change the toiletries (thank you very much 🙏🏻 But he took away the coffee we brought by the way. He was very kind and only left 1 coffee for us. We also thought it was okay. We adhered to the principle of not spoiling the fun when we went out to play and chose not to report it. We just called the front desk and asked them not to let anyone in our room, including the cleaning lady. We also changed towels and water with the cleaning lady when she was on our floor and told her that she didn't need to clean. We also put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign when we left. When we came back, the "Do Not Disturb" sign was put back in the room. This time it was our vitamin C that was taken away. I still want to talk about the advantages. The location of this hotel is not bad. It is close to the subway station. It is also convenient to take a taxi. There are also hot pot restaurants, 711 and McDonald's nearby.
