The hotel location is fantastic which is opposite Guangzhou Railway Station and 广州东站。Opposite is the main shopping district of GZ and surrounding many eating places.
The hotel is supposed a 5 stars rated but it is old even though is well maintained. However the only con is the aircon system cannot be adjusted as it is centralized and it gets really cold at night.

Great stuff, polite and attentive. Very clean and comfortable area and my room with all conveniences, with a nice view from the window. The location is wonderful, closer to subway like 3 Linhexi and stores to get food oe do some shopping.

The hotel staff has very good attitude, always with a smile, willing to go the extra mile in helping you with small things such as press button for lift and alert you when lift is here.The location was great, opposite is shopping mall with lots of food choices, however, it's not suitable for elderly who can't walk too long as you should expect to walk around 10mins to get inside the mall, we arrived when it's near the end of renovation so we do encounter flying insects during 1st day and they immediately arrange cleaning staff to clean and spray the room while we are out, will definitely recommend this hotel. Their morning buffet is also very nice and suitable. Highly recommend!

Location is good. Close to Guangzhou tower. To other places you need to spend some time getting there, but the metro connections are convenient. Plenty of places to eat just outside the building.
The address says the hostel is on the 9th floor, but that's the guys' floor. For the girls dorm it's the 11th floor.
Rooms are comfortable, bunks have a curtain and there is aircon. Mattress is a bit hard, but that's common in China. It was alright for me.
The only thing is that there is only one combined shower/toilet in the apartment. It gets quite dirty too, because so many people use it.

The hotel has a 200rmb deposit for small rooms which must be paid on sight and refunded on checkout and the rooms are pretty old school.

overall a good hotel close to the train station. Kind of end of a road, so quiet place. I was worried when entered the room as facing rail tracks. Still probably are just tracks not used, as did not hear any train at all during my staying! Positive!

It was too difficult to book a hotel for the Canton Fair in October. I looked at a lot of hotels and chose this hotel with the idea of giving it a try. Unexpectedly, it was beyond my expectation. The hotel's lobby was immaculate, and the staff courteously showed me to my room, providing a thorough introduction to the hotel's facilities.

GGuest UserLocation is very convenient. Walkable distance to the river and some parks. There are plenty of places to eat at the hotel or inside the building(k11). The room was nice, better than the hotel photos. On a cloudy day you may feel yourself inside a cloud. The lights of city in the evening are especially good looking from the this hotel. I like the ambiance of this hotel. The vibe is a relaxed sophistication. The artwork in the hallways, elevators and public spaces is very nice. Sometimes, i find the public spaces and hallways of this hotel to be more beautiful than the room, haha. The room is well reserved and relaxing , whereas public spaces are more energetic. Probably, how it should be. The great asset of this hotel is all the staff. And that would be the first reason i will be back to this place. The only minus - this is a really strange that in such nice and good hotel there is just one coffee machine in the breakfast - and it breaks all the time. To drink coffee it is a really problem.

GGuest UserThis hotel is really convenient. It's close to the metro, malls, and restaurants. The room I booked was fine. I knew it had no windows and was fine with that. But I was not happy with the sewer smell. It's silly to expect a bathroom to smell nice all the time but it really smelled so strongly of a sewer that the whole room smelled bad. There were also a lot of drain flies. Killing them was pointless because every day there were more.

SSeh KiatVery good location next to the Beijing Lu Pedestrian Walk. In the older part of the city. The surrounding is very nostalgic yet very well kept by the city.
My room is a river view high floor and it was exactly what I got. Full height window and a Tatami bed. It also came with a washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately the dryer had to be placed in the bathroom which made it a bit cramp.
The room itself is well maintained and what I suspect to be toiletries left behind by previous occupants are displayed for subsequent travellers.
I had great sleep, unfortunately I could not enjoy the great view because it was fogged out during my stay..
Overall, think Airbnb apartment.
The building is quite aged, so the lifts are a bit slow in coming. Add to that, the entire building seems to be occupied by numerous similar operators.
BTW Check In and service desk is in apartment 1813, at least for now.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have visited this Hotel.As always the facilities are excellent,especially the Gym,Jacuzzi,Sauna and indoor hot pool available for both genders.The personell are very hospitable.If I may give some constructive criticism, the lunch self help at the California Restaurant was a bit dissapointing.They should have more variety of meat,and fish.Last time there was Sushi available for dinner, however this time for lunch no Sushi.And lamb or pork or mutton as an extra meat dish.They should also have a dry white wine on the Wine List at a reasonable price.They can contact Me at ************************************* , and I will supply.

CChengxiqu88clean and nice remodeling. But this is not a 5 star, rather 3 to 4 star. Actually it’s a weird hotel. They completely lack the windows. The hallways are zigzagging and has a huge risk if fire breaks. I don’t know how the city government allows this kind of hotel. They turned off the heater and keep saying they turned it on. Latter they provided a space heater. I would not recommend this hotel.
