"Room was nice. It’s not in a hotel building . There is around 10 rooms next to the car park . Main issue I had was we could not get a table for dinner and then the lady was unable to recommend any other places we try as she was not allowed to . In order to use the pool you have to pay. Breakfast - nice but we did have to pay extra for hot food ."

"Clean comfortable room. Choice of pillows. Aircon. Good TV. Tea and coffee supplies. Hairdryer. Dove hand wash, body wash and shampoo. 3 generous size bath towels, 2 hnad towels and bathmat. Good size shower with non slip surface, although water pressure was a bit low on 3rd floor. 2 lifts. Good choice of hot and cold breakfast, hot drinks and fruit juices. All the staff were very friendly. Good bar. Free to leave luggage be before check in and after check out. Very close to train stain and taxi rank."

"I hate to be negative but this hotel has gone down hill over the years! I haven’t stayed for over 20 years but found a good price on comparison site to visit family  Reception friendly  Rooms old and very tired bedding old! No air con in this extreme heat that was not good! White cheap plastic fan in room that was next to useless  Dark pink mark on pillow! Restaurant food not the best look at the banana that was in fruit bowl at 7am!! No excuse it’s black and uninviting!! Staff very pleasant  Ordered breaded Brie and it came out stone cold!! Should have been runny and hot! Sent it back and it was sorted. To be honest it’s not somewhere I’d recommend as the whole hotel looks in disrepair and needs a lot of money spent on it  Rooms were very grubby and toilet seat had sticky marks on when we arrived so I cleaned it myself! Honestly better places to stay not worth the money!!"

"Can we just say a massive thank to Hall Farm for making our daughter and son in-laws wedding on the 5th of July so special. From the beautiful wedding venue and the surrounding grounds which gives so many amazing photo opportunities. The different accommodations were all luxurious, the hotel rooms and cottage with a hot tub we're especially enjoyed! We were pleasantly surprised by the food, good quality, tasty and hot. All the serving staff were helpful and smiling. Now last but not least, Alan he was great, a true professional who ran the day effortlessly and without a hitch. Our only disappointment was the alcohol(wine and prosecco) served at the table. We had paid for 50 adults and at least 20 were not drinking. Instead of leaving the bottles on the tables they continued to serve but only the top table and one other received a second glass. We certainly didn't get 50 glasses of prosecco for the toast. The glasses poured were less than half full. "
