We loved almost everything about this second story place! Our party of 6 (hubby, me and 4 adult kids) was very satisfied with our 10 day stay here. All the photos are pretty representative of what's really here. It's 2.5 miles south of San Pedro, but it really takes about 15-20 minutes in the golf cart to get to town from the condo. Here's the breakdown: Pros: 1. Very spacious with comfortable beds. 1 room with king, 1 room with queen, 1 room with two trundle twins (could sleep 4) plus two futons in the living room. Two and a half baths were great for our party of 6. (There is also a folding crib available too). The art/aesthetics were tasteful as well. 2. Laundry room right outside our front door with washer & dryer. We brought some tide pods, but they also had little baggies of detergent and dryer sheets for us as well. 3. Balcony with hammock and patio table and couches was great to lounge on. Nice ocean view and breeze. 4. The tap water is safe to drink, but they also provide two large drinking water jugs (sparkletts style) in a dispenser. When those ran out, the host delivered more for a small fee. I think it was something like $5 US for two bottles. 5. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. 6. Big fully stocked kitchen. It had lots of dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots/pans. We cooked all our breakfasts and a few dinners in the condo. There was enough coffee grounds provided for about 3-4 days. 7. The host met us and served us rum punch as we arrived and also had cool, damp washcloths to wipe off the dust from the road. Nice touch. 8. We had two golf carts for our party and there was parking available off the street for them. 9. Palapa at the end of the pier was a great place to hang out on the 3 lounge chairs. The dive shop (Belize Pro Divers) picked us up on the pier for all our dives and excursions - so convenient! Lovely ocean breeze and a great place to read and relax. We could also swim/snorkel off the pier since it had a ladder. The water is only about 3-8 feet deep and not a whole lot to see for snorkeling. We did see a couple of rays and some little fish, but there's not any reef, just sea grasses on a sandy bottom. But it was great to get some swimming exercise. Also my husband caught a couple of bonefish on his fly rod right off the pier. 10. AC works great and is permanently set by the host using a nest control. 11. This unit had a closet out on the balcony that had some snorkeling gear and pool blow up floaties. We also used the dry bags for taking on our dive trips to keep our towels and phones dry on the boats. Cons 1. We would have liked better blackout curtains. The sun rises at 5:30 and it's pretty hard to sleep after it gets light. 2. One of the bedrooms didn't really get good wifi, but it was fine in the rest of the unit. 3. The knives in the kitchen are terribly dull and difficult to use. They all could use a good sharpening. We also would have
