We loved almost everything about this second story place! Our party of 6 (hubby, me and 4 adult kids) was very satisfied with our 10 day stay here. All the photos are pretty representative of what's really here. It's 2.5 miles south of San Pedro, but it really takes about 15-20 minutes in the golf cart to get to town from the condo. Here's the breakdown: Pros: 1. Very spacious with comfortable beds. 1 room with king, 1 room with queen, 1 room with two trundle twins (could sleep 4) plus two futons in the living room. Two and a half baths were great for our party of 6. (There is also a folding crib available too). The art/aesthetics were tasteful as well. 2. Laundry room right outside our front door with washer & dryer. We brought some tide pods, but they also had little baggies of detergent and dryer sheets for us as well. 3. Balcony with hammock and patio table and couches was great to lounge on. Nice ocean view and breeze. 4. The tap water is safe to drink, but they also provide two large drinking water jugs (sparkletts style) in a dispenser. When those ran out, the host delivered more for a small fee. I think it was something like $5 US for two bottles. 5. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. 6. Big fully stocked kitchen. It had lots of dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots/pans. We cooked all our breakfasts and a few dinners in the condo. There was enough coffee grounds provided for about 3-4 days. 7. The host met us and served us rum punch as we arrived and also had cool, damp washcloths to wipe off the dust from the road. Nice touch. 8. We had two golf carts for our party and there was parking available off the street for them. 9. Palapa at the end of the pier was a great place to hang out on the 3 lounge chairs. The dive shop (Belize Pro Divers) picked us up on the pier for all our dives and excursions - so convenient! Lovely ocean breeze and a great place to read and relax. We could also swim/snorkel off the pier since it had a ladder. The water is only about 3-8 feet deep and not a whole lot to see for snorkeling. We did see a couple of rays and some little fish, but there's not any reef, just sea grasses on a sandy bottom. But it was great to get some swimming exercise. Also my husband caught a couple of bonefish on his fly rod right off the pier. 10. AC works great and is permanently set by the host using a nest control. 11. This unit had a closet out on the balcony that had some snorkeling gear and pool blow up floaties. We also used the dry bags for taking on our dive trips to keep our towels and phones dry on the boats. Cons 1. We would have liked better blackout curtains. The sun rises at 5:30 and it's pretty hard to sleep after it gets light. 2. One of the bedrooms didn't really get good wifi, but it was fine in the rest of the unit. 3. The knives in the kitchen are terribly dull and difficult to use. They all could use a good sharpening. We also would have

Went to a 50th birthday celebration from 10/7 to 10/10 and I had the worse experience ever. I have been traveling to the island Jamaica for over 20 years and i have never been as disappointed as i was at this dump. The location is about a 1.5 hours drive from MBJ. The ground was beautiful however inside the villa was horrible, the furniture was totally outdated. Each villa has 3 bedroom and not one of them had a TV. The TV was in the living area and it was 20”. The room was filthy. And not to mention the bathroom. FILTY, FILTY, FILTY. The bathtub was extremely dirty and they had a dingy and dirty supposedly white shower curtain which curtain hook that didn’t even hold the curtain. We were totally grossed out EVERY SINGLE TIME we had to go into the room an take a shower. Speaking of taking a shower, the water barely trickled. I actually went home with ringworm on my ride arm. I initially thought it was bug bites but after days of using cortisone and no relief , when i got home i had it diagnosed and it was certainly ring worm. The bath towels, wash cloth and the face towels were all dingy. Luckily i always took my own when i travel. The toilet had to be flushed several times to get rid of number 2. The best part of the stay was the 2 ladies that did the cooking for us. Ms Alma and I cannot remember the other ladies name but they were awesome. The food was great. We ensured that we gave them a great tip upon our departure. Super happy the Birthday girl had several external activities planned that took us away from that dumb on a daily.

We stayed in Miramar Unit #1 recently and really liked it. The interior of the condo is spacious, well kept and cheerful. The beds were very comfortable. I like to cook and so I especially appreciated the well-stock kitchen with a nice set of cookware, a meat thermometer, a blender, etc. The unit is ocean / dock front. We loved having our coffee and watching the sunrise above the beautiful ocean from the condo. We sometimes went to the dock and enjoyed the view right above the water too. The condo is on the ground floor. It made going to the beach / pool and carrying in groceries very easily. We had a few snorkeling and fishing tours. The tour boats just picked us up at the dock in front of us. The pool is a nice infinity pool in front of the ocean and very enjoyable. I had to remote work for a few days. I had no problem joining video calls with the strong wifi. In fact, cell phone signals in the area were robust. The AC and the washer /dryer worked well too. There are 4 restaurants / bars and a small grocery store within walking distance. It is about a 20 minutes golf cart ride to the town center. The golf cart ride was an adventure itself  This area is a lot quieter than in the town center. We certainly enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere here. There is a police station right next to the condo and we were told that it is the safest neighborhood on the island. The property management was very helpful and responsive too. Overall, we highly recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation in a spectacular location.
