Poor restaurant/bar opening hours food not good quality restaurant is in sorry state really needs to be overhauled. the room we stayed in (9) had no heating and the night porter gave us a small plug in oil filled radiator which took about 3hrs to heat room up :(

Very run down. Bar/Resteraunt even worse. It was only open for breakfast and dinner, had slow service and food was practically inedible. The saff in the hotel are efficient and friendly. More money just needs to be spent to upgrade the hotel. first impressions you get when you drive up are not good.

Location was great, bed comfortable, room large and staff friendly and welcoming. Car parking was easy and free of charge. On the downside the hotel is in need of refurbishment, on arrival after a long car journey the bar / restaurant had closed early because of the lack of customers which spoilt the first night of our stay, breakfast was served lukewarm and lacked appeal.

Very dated hotel, needs closing down for a full refurb. All floors very creaky and could hear people walking above us all evening/morning. Bed comfy and everything in bathroom worked, but could not turn the temperature down at all so had a warm night. Breakfast one of the worst I’d ever eaten, by far. Bacon cold and hard, soft black pudding, hash browns soggy and half frozen (or just been left out too long), eggs stone cold, toaster didn’t work properly, soft drink machine broken, water machine broken, best bit was the coffee machine and pre-packaged yoghurt pots. If I didn’t feel so cheap, I’d have asked for the £11 per person cost back it was that bad - don’t even get me started on the eggs, I can taste them 17 hours later and only had half of one. Staff okay, room okay - would avoid next time if I have the opportunity to.

Comfy bed, nice staff, clean bedding, good breakfast, reasonable price. Paid small amount extra for water facing room, didn't get it. Bath overflow/drain leaked...enough to wet entire floor, had to use all the towels to mop it up and it still wasn't dry. General cleanliness was not great, dust/grime on fittings, suspect marks on fur ture next to bed, evidence of damp on walls/ceiling and a damp smell (my son has autism and would not tolerate a move but would have asked for one had I been alone - mentioned to cleaner on exit).

We had booked a 2 night stay for a wedding which unfortunately didn’t happen due to the storm. £120 for both nights with breakfast one morning. The man on reception booked us in ok and off we went to our room. Room smelled mouldy and badly run down. Windows filthy so couldn’t really see the water. Room was really empty with no chair to sit on and the bedside table as you can see was falling to bits. Went back to reception to ask for a better table to be told that ‘ they are all like that, they charge a fortune for the rooms but won’t get them new furniture’! Breakfast was served to order, very poor. Cold eggs and beans, 1 tiny bit of bacon so asked for more as for the price I felt it should have been much better. We stay at premier inns a lot, especially St Andrews which is lovely, clean and a breakfast to set you up for the day. Really disappointed. Won’t be staying again.

Absolute naff , bed too high too hard , pillows crap . View not that special out the smallest window and price was atrocious for the Saturday night , not enough chairs for a room for 4 ie there was 1 . Apart from that we had a lovely time , food for breakfast was good
