This was actually excellent one night stay for our family over Labor Day. It was slow night, and we got upgraded to a spacious suite. Bonvoy Titanium status certainly helped. Had good breakfast included too. The service was friendly and efficient. The location is pretty good too. No complaint whatsoever. On top of everything, I was able to redeem the points for free stay, and it was quite reasonable conversion. All in all, nice historic property, with attractive common areas too. Recommend to stay here, if business or pleasure bring you to Green Bay

I had absolutely no issue with the room itself. I had a full night sleep with no issues. The location is great, I was able to walk In a desirable part of town. I couldn’t figure out the parking, parked in the lot next door. I had extremely heavy luggage that I had to lift up some stairs. At Marriott Titanium Elite, I thought there would be some breakfast benefits. Not here. The staff at the restaurant were kind and attentive regardless.

Room was extremely comfortable. Nice bed linens nice furnishings. Breakfast restaurant offers limited selections for use with my marriott status coupons. It all felt kind of pricey. However, the Eggs Benedict was absolutely great. Restaurant bar/ dinner place (Poke the bear) was dead on a Saturday night. I found some nice restaurants on Adams Street. Pro tip: free parking on weekends from 6 PM Friday till 8 AM Sunday, including streets and garage attached to the hotel

This is the second time I stayed at The Hotel Northland. Although the hotel gives every appearance of being a luxury hotel, and does have some high end finishes that make for luxury accommodations in some rooms, there are some issues which detract greatly from the overall stay experience. Our first time staying, we had a double queen suite. We noticed large stains on the carpet, and broken shades on lamps. The HVAC system was incredibly loud, so much so that it interfered with our sleep. But the suite was a generous size with two bathrooms and a soaker tub, which we enjoyed. Our second stay, we got a king room that according to the website pics had a separate seating area with a couch. Imagine our surprise when the room we were given had no such seating area, and most importantly, no king bed. I was told the the bed -was- a king, and that “king rooms have different layouts”. My tape measure measures the bed at 70” wide. That’s 6” short of a king bed width. My husband is 6’4” and it’s all limbs. We need a 76” wide bed, not a 70” wide bed. Even more disappointingly our room, and the entire floor reeked of stale cigarette smoke. I’m sorry to say we won’t be returning to The Hotel Northland.

Stayed here for a getaway weekend in Green Bay and found this to be a wonderful hotel stay. The hotel design is quite nice with the rooms updated to modern standards. The area is quiet and quite nice. We also found both restaurants in the hotel quite nice as well. Poke the Bear was a great end of day spot before we retired to our room, with the Walnut Room providing a great breakfast. This hotel is well recommended!

A restored building with lots of character, Hotel Northland is the only choice while in Green Bay. The rooms are immaculate with modern conveniences and a sophisticated decor. The staff are most welcoming and go out of their way to ensure a memorable stay.

Our immediate family and numerous guests stayed at the Hotel Northland last month while attending our daughter's wedding there. We loved our room and received rave reviews from everyone, many of whom are seasoned travelers. The rooms were spotless and well-appointed with large bathrooms and luxury toiletries. The linens were pristine and fresh--a point of significance with me, as many hotels are deficient in this regard. Our room had a sitting area that was separate from the sleeping area which worked well when our daughter wanted to sleep earlier than my husband and me, and we wanted to relax and talk for a while. The sitting area had ample lamps for lighting and comfortable seating. We gathered though, from discussions with several guests, that the hotel rooms vary in configurations, with some having larger baths in lieu of the sitting area. It would be worth inquiring about when booking a room so you can get one that best suits your needs. We also had a nicely stocked coffee bar and we found the clothing storage more than sufficient. Perhaps we most enjoyed the history of this grand hotel. My husband and I currently live in the Chicago area but were born and raised in the Green Bay area. We had never heard of the Hotel Northland while growing up and took great delight in discovering it and learning of its special history. Several of our older guests who were long-time residents of Green Bay, entertained us with stories of the proms and dances they attended there many, many years ago while they were in high school. Younger guests were in awe, with many wondering how they hadn't known about the hotel restoration. And, we did love the restored details throughout the hotel--the beautiful floors, woodwork, and lighting. The ballroom was an exquisite space to hold our daughter's wedding reception. We had a marvelous experience and highly recommend the Hotel Northland for guests looking for a unique and special place to stay.

Best hotel! Staff are outstanding. Dining in the Walnut Room is wonderful. Nicole is the most amazing server and Stephen is a magician behind the bar with his bartending skills. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is within walking distance of so much the downtown has to offer.
