If you are disabled, I would think again. Prior to my visit I requested soft pillows and a mattress topper, and was told to bring my own. I also requested a disabled parking bay, but was told they don't have any and it's only a short walk from the over flow car park to the hotel. For those of us who suffer pain when walking it is quite a distance. On arrival I was told I would have to climb stairs ( about 6) to get to my room, something I find excruciating, but Nicki who was at reception basically said if you don't like it find somewhere else. The next day she did apologise to my daughter, but I believe that was as a result of my complaint to the booking company. There are no hand rails in the bath except those on the side of the bath, which caused me to fall as I was trying to get out. The rest of the staff were very pleasant, and helpful, one even carried my walker up stairs for me, Breakfast was good, and we had the roast dinner on Sunday which was also very nice. There is however a strange smell at the far end of the hotel. The swimming pool is also inaccessible for disabled guests, as there are stairs.
