Spring River Ebbsfleet by Marston's Inns ★★★★
"Good location close to ebbs international train station for Eurostar. For us it was to see family. Towards Christmas has a local coop convenience store closed and restaurant which was ok at breakfast but they could keep up with the buffet demands but to be honest the large group of people being greedy and taking all the food didnt help. All in all was happy all around."
Inn on the Lake ★★★
"Good hotel for the piece. Could be cleaner and service from staff could be better. Cannot complain for the price though. Also had a nice lakeside view. Would stay again :)"
Best Western the Manor Hotel Suites ★★★
"Good location in terms of proximity to major roads, but housekeeping unfortunately came into the room two hours before check out!"
Premier Inn Gravesend Central ★★★
"We arrived early evening when it was already dark. On approaching the hotel it looked like the hotel had closed down. The lighting on the Premier Inn signage was off. The building behind the signage was cordoned off with iron railings and barriers. One or two workmen could be seen around the building which had sparse lighting in a few rooms. I drove in but there seemed no where to go so I reversed thinking the hotel must have been relocated. But there was no sign of a Premier Inn at another location further down the road. So I decided to call the hotel. No answer. I decided to drive back and perhaps ask one of the builders about the apparent disappearance of the Premier Inn. However, as I drove in the second time I spotted a car driving around the first building into a dark entrance. This road was not readily visible from the road entrance, especially in the dark. As we drove around the building we saw the reception of the Premier Inn and some dim lighting. There was a small but adequate car park. We queued at reception. There were two people in front of us. The gentleman at the front was complaining about the fact his heating was blowing out cold. He was not very happy and the receptionist had changed his room but she did not seem very welcoming. When it came to our turn we mentioned about the dark entrance and the fact it appeared that the hotel had closed down and were told that many people mention it. No apology or care. Why has this been left? Our room was freezing when we arrived. The heating did not work properly. We turned it up but it kept on going off every hour. I had to repeatedly reset it. Consequently as soon as we warmed up it was cold again. The cold water in the sink tap came out warm so we couldn't use it to fill the kettle. We had to buy bottled water. The hot water came out very slowly. Basically the sink tap did not work. We did not bother to complain as we felt this would fall on deaf ears. We had no energy after our long drive. We nearly never used the shower but it made sense to shower before we left with our itinerary the following day. As expected the shower was tolerable - just. There were 2 bath towels but only 1 hand towel. I had to ask for a hand towel at reception which was fine but it was rough like sand paper. We were only staying over the 1 night - thank goodness. I do not understand how a hotel chain such as the Premier Inn are unable to address these issues but I doubt I would book with a Premier Inn again."
The Jolly Drayman Pub and Hotel ★★★
Shamrock Guest House ★★★
The Leather Bottle ★★★
"Let us down big time, trying to book a wedding after party here, strung along saying yes we can do this and confirmed menu options and how many people. Speaking to them through email, tried to called but never answered, messaged at the beginning of june. Confirming all the plans. Today we called only to be told that august is the busiest month and over 350 people a day in august, I’m surprised as customers are never guaranteed especially this day and age. They couldn’t afford to shut the kitchen down for an hour for us. They’ve just lost £800 booking and food and drinks on tops which WAS guaranteed. Waste of time."
