Hotels Near Camp Pecheur waterfront in Grande Riviere Sud Est

We thoroughly enjoyed two weeks at Laguna Beach and found it to be great value on All Inclusive. Sea view double rooms were of a reasonable size, comfortable with attractive bamboo furnishing and well insulated for noise. Food was exceptionally good - a really wide choice of tasty dishes that were changing every day, the local fish being particularly delicious for me. Pancakes in the afternoon became an essential part of the daily routine. The waiters and staff in general are so friendly and helpful, I could not fault them in any way. In fact, the friendly atmosphere at Laguna Beach is one of their strongest assets, as is the local rum! All the drinks you get on the All Inclusive are very good quality, including the cocktails - I couldn't get enough of the Daiquiris. There are a few evening entertainments run by the excellent Kevin,  like a local dance troupe and a very fun karaoke, but this isn't on a daily basis, so isn't too much. Water sports are available and I recommend the views from the parasailing. We did lots of trips from Laguna Beach all over the island and found it to be an excellent base for exploration. I particularly recommend doing a catamaran trip on the West coast - this was idyllic, we got to see dolphins and a family of ***** whales!  A guided tour around the tiny eco island of Ile Aux Aigrettes is a must - I won't forget the giant turtles ... Mauritius is also a hiker's paradise and this is something I wish I had more time for. The scenery and views from Black River Gorges National Park is something special. I do recommend hiring taxi drivers for a day or half day instead of driving yourself - best have someone who knows where all the bad road surfaces are and traffic in some areas can be a bit hectic at rush hours. Some of the drivers have excellent local and historical knowledge, and can act as your guide, not just a driver. There are a few things to be aware of when considering a stay here. It's on the more remote South East side of the island. If you want tourist shops, bars and nightlife then head to the North - this resort is more about peace and quiet. Saying that there is a constant soundtrack of music in the pool / bar area that I could have done without in the daytime, or just turn the volume down a bit.  Being on the East it can get windy, especially in the evening but this was rarely an issue for us.  If you want your hotel to have an amazing beach you should consider an alternative - the section of the beach cordoned off here is very small and everyone used the lovely infinity pool instead.

During the Spring Festival, a family of 6 stayed for 5 nights and it felt great! Not willing to go! Breakfast is rich, you can also feed fish while eating (a beautiful sea fish that can only be seen by snorkeling), feed birds (see at least three kinds of birds), picturesque scenery, free experience golf, glass boat trip to and from deer during your stay Island, recreation room, elephant tortoise watching, bicycling, glass-bottom boat ride to and from the opposite bank ... I also accidentally found a lot of mango trees and Sakyamuni trees. The greening of the entire hotel is exquisite, and some live in oversized bonsai The feeling in the absolute paradise on earth!

First time travel alone beyond expectation Environmental beauty There is a world-class ⛳️ and private 🚤 on the island of Kashima. There is a bartender service on the beach. You can also book a barbecue on the beach. The hotel has free water sports and junior classes. Breakfast, my little brother will sell cute paintings. The only small regret is that the room does not depend on the sea. It is recommended to couple couples and big families to choose a better room type.

We recently stayed for 8 nights at the Bubble Lodge, and had the opportunity to try 3 of the 4 bubbles: Lake & Sea view (2 nights), Ocean view (3 nights) and Eco Lodge (3 nights). Just missed out on the Banyan for this time. Great experience. Being a golfer, it was on my bucket list. Challenging course and the most amazing views on the Indian Ocean. Amazing feeling, especially early mornings and late afternoon to have the island for yourself. The whole staff is just wonderful: Our butlers, the Club House & kitchen staff taking care of us at breakfast and dinner, the team at the beach bar for they day caring, the golf club team members. Just AMAZING! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We loved the food and variety proposed, Mauritian food & curries being central. Also, quite easy to go and visit the Island from there and return to a quite heaven after that (we rented a car from Yash for a day (Yash Car rental Mauritius – trou d’eau douce)) and were able to visit some “must do’s” from there. Would we recommend it? Definitely. For 1 or 2 nights, and also for a whole week if you ask us! Blessed to have come across this address and grateful to have spend some days with this amazing team

The location is good, the hotel can provide free snorkeling service, you can also see a lot of fish snorkeling next to the hotel, the sea is very clear, great.

Very nice apartments, with kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and one or two balconies. Super view of the coast and the green surroundings. Located a little away, but with a car rental everything is very good to reach. Very good breakfast, super nice owner and friendly staff. You feel associated with it. Beautiful large pool and a beautiful garden leave here feeling of quiet and holiday. I'm glad to come back

We have had such a lovely holiday at Friday Attitude. When we arrived we were offered a hot towel and a freshening drink. When we checked in, we was provided with lots of information and the reception staff showed us to our room personally and our luggage was brought to our room for us. The bed was decorated with the towels and fresh flowers. Beach towels are provided and can be changed at anytime at reception. Free WiFi around the hotel which is great! The staff are truly just amazing and can’t do enough for you! We have never stayed at at hotel where the staff are so friendly before. They were always checking with us making sure we were having the best stay and how they can improve our stay and for other guests in the future. One night our air con stopped working and they fixed it straight away even late at night. The next day without even asking they put it on a test all day so was lovely and cool when we arrived back from a trip. The hotel itself is very beautiful with a lovely tropical feel, we felt so relaxed during our stay and took advantage of having two massages at the spa. The beach front location is so relaxing, feels like your in paradise, relaxing on the beanbags. We sat in the beach front bar every night, they also provided entertainment. The hotel offer a variety of trips out with taxi drivers who stay with you throughout the day, showing you the island and giving you lots of information about the island. The hotel offer a free boat trip to Ile aux cerf, which is just the most beautiful island where we got engaged 🥰 !! Take advantage of this free trip if you stay here! There are so many positive things I can say about this hotel but by far the most memorable is how lovely all the staff are! We would 100% return. My partner is a little plain with eating food so the curry’s on the menu every night were a bit too much for him, but the staff offered and cooked him separate food and brought it out to our table, which we cannot fault. We had a later flight on our last day with check out at 12pm, we was worried about having a shower etc before the long flight but we asked if there was a possibility we could keep the room a bit longer, the customer service lady Simi came to find us personally and the hotel allowed us to keep our room for longer which made the last day and the journey home a lot better. Thank you to everyone at this hotel for making our holiday and engagement so special!!

We spent 11 nights at the Seasense Boutique Hotel & Spa in Mauritius and were absolutely thrilled! The entire team is exceptionally attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The service leaves nothing to be desired – from chilled, fresh towels on the beach, to glasses-cleaning service, to fresh fruit brought directly to our loungers, every detail was thought of to make our stay perfect. Special praise goes to the room service, especially Shivam, Aravid, and their team, who consistently provided the best service. A particular highlight was my fiancée’s birthday. The team surprised her with a beautifully decorated room, and in the evening, she received a small birthday cake, a birthday serenade, and a cheese platter, which we enjoyed with a bottle of wine. A big thank you to Kelvin and the entire team for making this day unforgettable. Another delightful surprise was the unexpected room upgrade offered by the hotel’s housekeeper. It shows that such attentiveness really exists and contributed to a truly perfect experience. The spa area also deserves a mention. The massages were relaxing and rejuvenating, and the variety of tours available for booking directly through the hotel was fantastic, allowing for a truly carefree holiday. The food was simply divine – from the breakfast buffet to the à la carte dishes in the evening, every meal was a delight. Overall, it was an absolute dream vacation with absolutely nothing to complain about. We highly recommend the Seasense Boutique Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Mauritius!

We stayed here recently for just over two weeks. It's a great hotel in a good location on the east coast. We never had a problem finding a sun lounger on the beach, but it was a bit breezy at times. Staff were fantastic. Food was excellent in the main dining room with plenty of choice. Wok n Roll is big on sushi, but has a rather limited menu otherwise. We could have gone 3 times, but only went once. There was a good selection of wine by the bottle - available at lunch and dinner - on the all inclusive package. There's entertainment in the bar most evenings. Again plenty of choice of inclusive drinks. It winds down about 22.30, and nothing too loud or raucous. We booked 3 trips through Deeya at the hotel - Five Islands boat trip with Danny (great day) - Flacq Central Market (interesting) - and a car for the day to tour the south of the island (definitely worth a visit). Shout out to Rajendra, Deepak, Nitish (Dining Room), Geraldine, Priya (Beach Bar), Shreesh (Main Bar), Vella (Somellier) who all went out of their way to make our holiday special. Just a couple of things to note - only beer and soft drinks in the mini bar (you have to order wine by the glass to be delivered). Take a beach bag, there isn't one in the room unless you're on honeymoon.

Mauritius is a beautiful island with beautiful people. All are friendly and are there to help you have the very best holiday experience. Truly an idyllic place to be especially in the Ambre hotel. I had an Ayurvedic massage which was relaxing. I have just had my second treatment of chakra healing. I am a reiki master myself and am aware that I still have a lot to learn. Vanessa’s treatments have helped me to realign my energies to follow my journey and to focus my time better. I know that I need to give myself time and space to develop, grow and be in the best place for me to help others in my life to also develop, grow and heal. For that I am very thankful. I would definitely recommend having your chakras healed and cleared of negative energies that have travelled with you through past lives. Then you can move on….. x
