This is our first experience staying at this chain as we usually frequent Marriott brand of properties and were originally planning on staying at the Ritz. This is a new property and my first time to Grand Cayman. We are used to a high level of service and spend about a third of the year in hotels. This may be the best level of service that we have received out of any hotel that we have stayed at ever. Our room is gorgeous with incredible views and I can’t speak highly enough about the cleanliness of the property. I couldn’t even find any dust in the corners of the room! The daily housekeeping and evening turndown service have such an attention to detail. As we are here celebrating our son’s 18th birthday, we were greeted with a special setup in our room. Every person that we have encountered, even if a maintenance worker passing by, is cheerful and greets us. The staff go out of their way to try and help you. As an example, reading an email on my phone, I had a confused expression, a porter approached as asked if he could help! The pool side service is exceptional as well with snacks and cooling face towels being brought by. The hotel has a partnership with the beach club in front of the property, offering loungers with umbrellas and beachside beverage and food service. The food we had there was great as well. Our experience with the rooftop restaurant and bar was such an anomaly from the rest of our experience thus far that I’m leaving it out of this review and providing a separate review.
