Hotels Near Skyttebackarna in Gothenburg

I took the children to Gothenburg and chose this Hotell Liseberg. It turns out that this is a good choice. The hotel is very close to the two favorite places of Liseberg Amusement Park and Universum, about 5-7 minutes walk. . The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, and I was impressed by Jenny and Mia, making us feel at home. There is a parking lot outside the hotel. It is very convenient to drive. It is also about 15 minutes walk from Central Station, and the traffic is convenient. The breakfast at the hotel is very fresh, although the variety is not particularly good, but the quality is very good. The hotel also has a microwave and ice machine for the convenience of the guests, very intimate. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the hotel's children's playroom, children can stay indoors and have a good time in the rain. Next time we come to Gothenburg, we will also choose to stay at this hotel.

It was a quite wonderful experience to stay at First G hotel in terms of the following, I can actually say I have never gotten this kind of experience outside of Japan in my life. Their services with smiling faces, breakfast especially scrambled egg and a lot of line up of breads, convenient location to take almost all trams which will take you anywhere in Goteborg, finally entire performance per cost. Having an appointment close by this property has a superb location literally opposite Göteborg central. Great if you are arriving by train, coming by car means that parking is at an (understandable) premium. But, for 395:- a night you get a reasonably spacious garage with direct access to the hotel. The hotel is designed in a square formation with a large atrium in the middle. It's good to be aware that many of the rooms face the atrium, which means your view will be looking out into the atrium. On Friday night the hotel had some event with live DJ and loud (but good!) music - having one of these internal rooms would have been disturbing. The check-in went smoothly, the receptionist recognized my Radisson status and gave us a room overlooking the square (one could see the station from the room!) and it was very quiet (didn't hear anything from the party/event on Friday night). Bathroom was fresh and clean, the shower had decent pressure although it tended to splash water on the floor. The executive room we got was spacious, had a comfy sofa (which didn't feel super clean), very comfortable bed, nespresso machine .. and no shoehorn! It seems to be a disappointing trend for Radisson properties to either have a pathetic small shoehorn, or none at all. The entrance was carpeted which although it had been vacuumed, it felt a little dirty. The rest of the room was wooden floors. The TV looked impressive - a good size .. but it turned out to be quite a dated unit with no accessible HDMI ports, we never used it. Breakfast is not included by default in the rate, and I have mentioned in other Radisson property reviews, this tends to reduce crowding and improve quality significantly. Breakfast was good here, not quite as good as the one in Stockholm, but the staff were overall very good. Didn't have a chance to try the gym or spa, but entering and exiting the lobby area it always felt lively and there was a hub of activity, especially on Friday evening. I would stay here again, and would recommend this property.

I was looking for somewhere affordable just a short walk from Chalmers University and ended up staying in this friendly clean updated traditional hotel. Just minutes away from the main streets, a half hour walk to the sea or Botanic Gardens and with a generous breakfast each morning I could not have asked for more. The staff were welcoming when I arrived early for check in after 20+ hour journey and found me a room. There’s a wonderful old school lift up the centre of the original staircase: be prepared to go alone with your suitcase or squeeze in with one friend because that’s all there is room for!

Scandic Europa is the perfect location to stop if you ate going to a concert at the Ullevi stadium. Located right by the main station. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast excellent. We did have a couple of issues that were immediately sorted out so nothing negative to say. We left very early in the morning, Uber was on time and we were provided with breakfast boxes. Overall a very good choice.

We stayed in Pigalle Hotel Gothenburg for 2 nights The location of the hotel is very central and super close to the central station of Gothenburg ( about3 minutes walk), it is also close to tons of restaurants, cafes and a big shopping mall where you will find everything The reception when we first entered the Hotel did not meet our expectations, it was not that warm welcome and for a moment felt almost like self service, I thought it was bizarre for a 5 stars hotel to have average reception for their guests. Decoration of the hallway, the bar at ground floor, the entrance and even the stairs was surprisingly very vintage, romantic and outstanding design, overall it was charming and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Even the room design, the wall paper and the bathroom were all of the same theme (vintage & romantic and it quite warm feeling) The bed was super comfy, we slept very well like bears so if you wanna have a great sleep they got the beds and pillows for it. Also the breakfast every morning was nothing short of delicious and the taste of everything was great and you can feel that they only use fresh & high quality ingredients, the methods of the cooking and preparations were very 5 stars indeed, and the service of the staff as well, they were very friendly and professional. Nevertheless the room we stayed at did not match the pictures on the hotel web page, it was not very spacious neither was the bathroom, and next to the bed both nightstands had stains on them, we were also not pleased with the cleanliness of the room nor the bathroom as there were so much chalky limescale deposits all over the bathroom floor. The closet in our room was sort of broken and need reparation as it was quite warn out, also it had very small space to hang our clothes and even less space for stuff because it had only 2 small shelves. No free coffee, nor tea and not even water in the room, quite disappointing for a 5 stars hotel, I honestly was upset as there were no trash cans in the room, there were just one in the bathroom and you need to walk there every time you had trash to throw. Also although we were couple, we only got 1 welcome package and even that was very basic. In Summary: The Hotel have a charming, vintage aesthetic and an unbeatable central location. However, the room quality fell short of expectations for a 5-star establishment, with cleanliness issues and a lack of amenities. The delicious breakfast and exceptional service of the staff helped redeem the experience.

The room was clean and had an iron, kettle and fridge. The “double” bed upstairs was two single beds shoved together. Not worth paying for a third person as it was a sofa bed- which pulled out extremely low down so they basically slept on the floor. They also had a very hard section so was not very comfy. It cost us an extra 85 pounds for this- which was not worth it! Overall, it was a good stay as there is a swimming pool (limited opening hours though), they let you leave your bags at reception and the views are greta

The Internet celebrity hotel is indeed quite popular. The walls of the hotel are all red, which is very beautiful. The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities and supplies are very new. Two rooms, 335 and 322, were opened at the same time, but the sizes were different. 335 was very large, while 322 was much smaller. The breakfast is rich and has a variety of choices to satisfy your taste buds. The only drawback is that it is a bit far from the city and it is not convenient to travel. Otherwise, it is very good.

Good location, Great reception from staff when we arrived to check in. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very modern and quirky with a scientific authentic feel. It made the hotel unique with the feel . The room was well equipped to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower is a power shower. Simply amazing. The food was of exceptional quality. The service was excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble. The only criticism I could mention, is the menu is very restricted, not much choice in main meals, but on saying all that, the meals they did have , are of very high quality, and you will not be disappointed. The food is presented very well and tasted amazing. We will be back. The breakfast is plentiful with amazing amount of choice. Very high quality and plenty to eat.Thank you for an amazing stay. Totally blown away with everything about the hotel , service and the food.

Not just an average airport hotel. Set away from the airport around 5 minutes walk, the hotel is on the edge of a lovely green area with a forest to the rear. Breakfast was top class, everything set out nicely and quality food. Definitely a notch up on any airport hotel I've stayed in before. Will definitely use again.
