The staff prior to and on check in were good and easy to deal with.
The room was a disgrace. The carpets look filthy & are stained. The leather (gross) couch is extremely worn and the surface flaking off. This room is for 4 people but there are only 3 seats in front of the tv.
There is limited kitchenware for food preparation.
I am unsure if the apartment was actually cleaned as there was hair all over the balcony, there were used dirty tissues between the bedside table and the bed in the smaller bedroom.
We were not provided the correct amount of towels in the room. When one of our party when down to ask they were accused of not looking and had the customer service person talking to them while eating their breakfast and with a mouthful of food and blaming the house keeping staff. We also didn't hear from the house keeping staff our entire stay nor did they ever provide housekeeping while we were out, even after reporting the filth found in the room. There was also no apology for this or attempt to fix/clean it. They advertise that there is daily housekeeping.
There was a concern with payment at checkin. We were told the best way is to just book direct & also it's the cheapest. We booked WOTIF because it stated QB. Their website & other booking sites state DB beds We actually had more like 1 DB which was comfy and one KG which was hard as a rock. It was also cheaper through WOTIF. We would not stay here again. Poor impression of G/stone for our out of town guests.
