Quiet Stay in Historic French Chateau
Beautiful and picturesque are first impressions of this classic French chateau and expansive gardens. Very quiet and easy uphill walk to the Rue Claude Monet and the town of Giverny

Pretty property

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this charming bed and breakfast. Beautifully renovated property, delicious breakfast, clean and comfortable room and all within easy walking distance of Monet’s house and garden. Giverny is a lovely little village in a beautiful part of France. Highly recommended.

Perché andarci: se avete bisogno di staccare la spina. Chambres d'hotes in una antica e suggestiva struttura, immersa nel silenzio, circondata da un giardino curatissimo, camera molto ampia ed accogliente, arredata con gusto, travi a vista, finestre e porte d'epoca. La sala per la colazione è ampia, luminosa, la colazione è squisita ed abbondante. Non andateci se: volete la tv in camera (non c'è) se volete l'aria condizionata(c'è un ventilatore) se volete la reception sempre aperta(se arrivate fuori orario vi lasciano la chiave al desk) Noi siamo stati benissimo e lo consigliamo

Nous avons été les premiers à nous lancer pour notre mariage la bas. Un endroit idéal, magnifique et au top pour notre mariage, un personnel au petit soin et surtout des gens adorables. Je recommande à 100% les yeux fermés. La salle et la cour sont sublimes et depuis ça s’est encore amélioré, les propriétaires ont énormément de goût et d’élégance. Ils en ont fait un endroit exceptionnel !

We very much enjoyed our comfortable and quiet overnight at La Dime. The half-timber complex has a shabby-chic feel about it, a romantic sense of previous prosperity remembered. I could see myself riding up to it on horseback in an historic 17th century movie drama. As it was, I parked right at the front a gate on a secluded lane. We didn’t take any meals. But the four of us did enjoy a bottle of champagne in the gazebo at the end of the deep green, expansive field of the grounds served by our very welcoming hostess. Several other comments suggest La Dime as a wedding venue. I can see that. The courtyard would make for a festive welcome. There is a large hall, grounds meant for white summer tents and enough rooms for a mid-size wedding party. It would be one to remember.
