Jambuluwuk Oceano Gili Trawangan

We stayed at the hotel from August 15th to 19th, 2026. We really liked the location. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of greenery and flowers, and two pools. The one closer to the sea is always in the shade, while the farther one with a waterfall is sunny and very pretty. The rooms are stylish, but there's limited storage space – just one small open rack with hangers and absolutely no drawers. Breakfasts are simple but have everything you need. Swimming at the beach is practically impossible because the bottom is covered with corals and various sized rocks, making it easy to get hurt. Also, there were waves almost all the time, not big ones, but combined with the uneven bottom, they made moving around difficult. Even at high tide, the water only reached waist-deep. HOWEVER, every day around 10:30 AM, turtles swam right up to the shore, and you could see them from your sun lounger and even get very close – they aren't afraid. You can also watch the sunset from the hotel beach. The hotel restaurant is decent, and we also tried restaurants to the left. We had no stomach issues. For swimming, you can go to the right towards the port; it's deeper there but very crowded with many boats. We walked about 15 minutes to the left, where the bottom is also coral but flat, making it easy to walk on. The maximum depth was waist-deep, the water was clear, and there were hardly any waves. Among the inconveniences, the shower only has a rather ugly fixed showerhead on the wall, and the water pressure is weak. There are no bathrobes or disposable slippers.

Excellent hotel right on the oceanfront. The room was spacious, perfectly accommodating three of us. Housekeeping was daily. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with lots of greenery, birds singing, and a peaceful atmosphere. There are two pools: one lively, the other quiet. On the beach, there are sun loungers with mattresses. The sea entry has rocks and corals, so reef shoes are a must. There's a nice beachside cafe from the hotel, serving delicious food at average prices. Hotel breakfasts are good, buffet style. Nearby, you'll find massage places, cafes, and shops. It's a quiet spot, perfect for relaxation. I recommend it.

This hotel is magnificent in every way! The rooms are equipped with everything you could need, including a kettle, a safe, toothbrush and paste sets, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and even body lotion. The bathroom humidity is low, so swimsuits dried completely overnight. The huge bed was incredibly comfortable with soft pillows – we slept like babies! The staff are very attentive and always smiling, excellent service! There are two swimming pools on the property; we particularly liked the second, longer one, further from reception. You can also rent bicycles for the whole day! The breakfasts are delicious. Best of all, turtles swim right in front of the hotel – we absolutely loved watching them! It was hard to leave this paradise!!!

Everything at the hotel was wonderful! The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the location was convenient for us – a little further from the center, but we rented an electric scooter and it was only 5-10 minutes to get there. The entire grounds were lush and green. The pool was a bit heavily chlorinated, but personally, I didn't need to use it anyway. There's also a restaurant just steps away with an ocean view ❤️

The experience was quite good. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff who arranged the horse carriage service was also very helpful.

Although this hotel is rated 5-star, it really doesn't live up to it anymore. I'd say it's a maximum of 4-star, everything feels a bit worn out. The biggest plus is its location, especially if you're looking for clean water without the boats and gas fumes you'd find near a port. For two consecutive nights, we heard someone running and making noise in the attic room above us. We asked the staff to check it out, and they said everything was fine, but it happened again the next night. It sounded like cats. On the positive side, the in-room internet was good, and having Netflix was a nice bonus.

A wonderful place with spacious grounds and friendly staff, as is common throughout Indonesia. The food is great. I'll probably come back here again.
