Before I went, I was really looking forward to it, wondering if I would stay at the My Life Hotel here. After staying for one night during the National Day holiday, I would like to share my true feelings. 🏨Advantages: The Dongjia Hotel was built in 1885 and has a history of 130 years. It is one of the three major heritage hotels in the world. It is divided into the modern Victory Wing and the colonial-style Heritage Wing. This is a check-in in two different lobbies. The Heritage Wing we booked is indeed more retro and atmospheric than the Victory Wing. I like the lobby with a large arc design. There is an echo when you speak, which is very interesting. Every corner is very photogenic, with a century-old elevator, a colonial cannon, a spiral staircase, and a road leading to the executive lounge on the first floor. It is like a retro exhibition. Look carefully and taste carefully, it has a unique flavor. Coming out of the executive lounge is the most photogenic Heritage Wing swimming pool. Don’t be too comfortable sitting on a beach chair and basking in the sun! (Here, there is a happy hour in the executive lounge from 6pm to 8pm, but children under 12 years old cannot enjoy it, so it is not suitable for friends with children.) Different corners of the hotel will be decorated with high-end flowers, which are very elegant and tasteful. The suite we booked is very big and designed in black and white retro style. I like it very much. The minibar is not mini at all. Nuts, drinks in the refrigerator and whole bottles of red wine are all free. The bath and skin care products are all from PANPURI, which smells pretty good. Guests of the Heritage Wing can basically enjoy all the rights and benefits. You can choose from three restaurants for breakfast. I saw netizens say that you can eat three times [snickering R] You can try it if you go there~ We chose Sarkies on the first floor of the Victory Wing for a buffet. There are quite a lot of products and the place is large. It is very chill to sit outdoors and look at the sea. ❌Disadvantages: 1. The paint smell in the suite is quite strong, which really makes me dizzy! Can't the hotel find some deodorizer to fix it [shame R] 2. I found a nail protruding from the floor of our room. It is easy to hurt my feet if I walk barefoot. I called the front desk and asked them to send someone up to repair it. A Chinese-speaking employee at the front desk replied that someone would be sent as soon as possible. I waited for more than an hour and was about to check out, but no one came up. When we checked out later, we told another employee about it. He also looked surprised and said "I am so sorry" and then went on to do other things. I feel that they don't pay much attention to the feedback of the guests. This deserves a bad review. - Personally, I think that a life hotel should not only have the historical background, geographical location, and equipment and hardware of the hotel, but also the rights and interests enjoyed by the guests and the star-level service of the employees. In my opinion, the East and East Hotel in Penang is the kind of hotel that you will forget after you stay and experience it. You won't miss it after you leave~

第二次入住，肯定會有第三次！！！！ 大家一定要住遺產翼，送的葡萄酒，軟飲，下午茶的酒水，都吃不完，節省很多錢，哈哈哈哈…… 泳池也是獨享的，比上次勝利翼的好 但是早餐我還是喜歡勝利翼的早餐，可能不會點，剩下兩個餐廳不太會點 免費給我朋友升級了房型，下次要住升級套房 服務：服務總體來説還可以，沒有感受到區別對待

A recommended hotel. I stayed in the Heritage Wing for 2 nights. There was red wine 🍷 welcome, snacks and drinks. My husband and children liked it. It was simple and elegant. The waiter was very friendly. He asked every day if I needed more drinks. The newspaper on the door in the morning was a surprise. There is still such service now. Thank you!
