It's not the first time I have stayed at Loerie Guest House. I like the place and the rooms very much. I do think though, like sooo many other guest houses, there is a huge gap between understanding what HALAAL means and that it opens doors for a wider variety of clientele if you can at least say 'we have a halaal friendly kitchen' which means practicing keeping a pan and pot/utensils for muslim guests. What would it really cost a guest house to keep a minimum stock of something like 'Rainbow Chicken/Anca Chicken' or any halaal certified breakfast kind of items (fish fingers etc). There is ALWAYS plenty of bacon/ham etc etc, whilst all i could eat were 2 eggs! Also, maybe an Honesty Bar would also do well, seeing that there is no water provided in the rooms.

Very good location if you don't know that area, as you can walk around the corner to restaurants. Room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with friendly service. Parking is on the tighter side though.

very simple, not one of the best I've stayed at. However it was a room were I could shower and sleep. No toilet paper on the holder, I had to look in the room for the toilet paper. Shower sprays water onto the floor, dangerous as you can slip and fall. The mat doesn't fit by the door so when you put it down, and open the door.. the mat moves away. I cleaned and dried the floor after every use to ensure I didn't slip.

The room was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite cold, no heating available. I read the reviews beforehand, so I managed to get one hot water bottle which helped a bit. I was only there for a night and didn't have a chance to have the breakfast.

We were pleasantly impressed with the lodge. Priced very reasonably.Staff were very courteous and professional. Facilities were very decent. Breakfast was lovely, very homely. Overall the stay was fantastic. Will definitely return!

Loerie Guest House provided the perfect accommodations for our one-night business group stay. The rooms were not only clean but also spacious, offering a comfortable retreat after a long day of meetings. The breakfast spread was delicious, providing a great start to our day. The location was convenient, and we especially appreciated the awesome dinner recommendation at Cafe Serefe, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. We will definitely be choosing Loerie Guest House again for our next stay.
