Hotel Bonum is a small hotel on the edge of the old city in a quiet residential area, but within easy reach of all the city’s most iconic destinations. Also, buses and trams are nearby, as are lots of good places to eat that are more popular with local people and Poles than foreign tourists. We stayed a week and for some of the time had to utilise the room with facilities for a person with disabilities. Both rooms were excellent and the room for someone with disabilities is on the ground floor, although a lift provides access to the other floors, the basement included, where there are excellent breakfasts. All the staff were extremely helpful, patient and friendly, and dealt with many unusual requests because one of us had been involved in a very serious accident. It was good that coffee, tea and water were provided in the bedrooms, and a fridge allows guests to bring in a few things to eat and drink. This is an excellent place to stay in Gdańsk, for its location, the facilities in the bedrooms, the breakfasts and the wonderful staff. This will be our first choice for accommodation in Gdańsk in the future.
