Very friendly staff.
There was a convenient restaurant on the first floor, and I saw bears on the walking trail nearby.
I was satisfied with the deep pool and hot spring, but it was an older lodge compared to the pictures.
For reference, the inside + no veranda room has a view of the first floor parking lot.

Rooms comfortable and clean. The hotel was awesome, and I love the pool. Pool Hot Tub is off limits to under 18, which gives adults a place to relax. Also, after 10 PM, under 18 must exit pool, this is due to rooms facing the pool and being quiet. Adults can use the pool until 11 pm. This may seem extreme, but as an adult, this is greatly appreciated. The best thing is the staff Heta and John were extremely helpful and made our stay so much better.

This is a very old hotel so don't expect luxury. The Rooms were large with great large glass windows and doors that open to a balcony to sit outside. The rooms were clean and the A/C was ICE COLD the way I like it. The hot water for the shower was was great and hot. Our room was 210 and the best in my opinion we had lots of trees off our balcony so the birds ate bread right in front of us. The pool was a very fun pool that was two levels opened until 11PM. The putt putt was free. The Breakfast buffet was $8.95 and was abundant in choice and delicious, The location was great and convenient to walk everywhere. Grocery Store was across the way. I booked this 4 hours before I showed up and got the room for $51.00 Taxes are high state and resort taxes so beware. Oh and one last thing Parking was FREE great deal in itself because parking in this town is expensive. This hotel is located two buildings down from the Gatlinburg Covention Center.

Very nice for the price. Great location. Gatlinburg in walking distance! The indoor pool is awesome and the people at the front desk are super helpful and super nice people! Heta checked us in and she was a sure pleasure! Smile on face and bubbly! Definitely stay there again!

Really enjoyed the pool and the indoor area in general. I was also happy to see that there are adult swim hours in the evening. On-site laundry facilities, though, would be a great and convenient addition to this property. The hot tub was nice and warm.

Nice place overall. I found the whole area noise and not really to my liking. However the hotel itself was nice. Resturant downstairs with a few items like soda and beer you could buy to take back the room as well as tables there. Great staff that help any way you needed. The Rooms are basic rooms for the most part but comfortable enough. Easy enough loction to walk the area from as well.

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary at the church where we were married. It is across the street from the Glenstone and was where many of our guests at the wedding stayed those many years ago. The place had really stood the test of time, with obviously many upgrades and excellent maintenance. The rooms were comfortable, indoor and outdoor pools were very nice, particularly the outdoor pool which included daily visits from a local bear!! The restaurant had great pizza. This is a gem in the middle of Gatlinburg making almost everything walkable.

During our trip at Glenstone Lodge, the pool was decent so were the rooms. The beds are awful though. The restaurant that is located in the hotel is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. Do not waste your $12 apiece for breakfast!!! Go down the road and get food. I have never in my life Been so disappointed after having to pay $26 for two people to eat food that could be cooked & served by a five-year-old. But really the food was the worst part
