Very nice hotel, excellent location, large public areas and a very warm feel. The room was the largest we stayed in during our trip to Iceland, and we could easily spread out 2 suitcases. Opposite is the lighthouse. On a clear day, you can watch the aurora directly from the window (sea view rooms are available, but there will be light pollution from the airport on the other side). Drive 10 kilometers from the hotel to the airport and pass by a small town.

A very pleasant hotel, with a very nice view, a very relaxing place, and an excellent restaurant. It was the most delicious meal in the whole trip to Iceland. The main course and tiramisu were very delicious! At first, I just wanted to catch a plane, but it's really worth living here. You can still see the sunset here in June! ! ! Super rare.

Hotel was spotless, warm and bed comfy. Staff were helpful and food was good (just a little overpriced for what it was in my opinion). We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel as we were out exploring Iceland most of the time. Definitely need a car if staying here, I'd imagine it'd be difficult to get round otherwise. Views from the hotel and the lighthouse are incredible!!

Wonderful room with a view of the lighthouse. Pleasant atmosphere. Great employees. The employees ask if you want a “notification knock” if the northern lights are visible. Wonderful breakfast with local foods and American foods. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the Lighthouse-Inn. The room was large and spacious for three. We had a great dinner in their restaurant and the breakfast buffet was lovely. They were very helpful and even knocked on our doors in the evening when the northern lights came out. Our flight was early and the made us sandwich’s since we would miss breakfast. All for a reasonable price. We highly recommend.

First night in Iceland. Comfortable hotel. Relatively close to the airport. About 11km. I liked the breakfast. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. Paid 223€ for a triple room. Was it cheap? No. However, the standard of living in Iceland is very high. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

Being Canadian, we loved the northern Ontario lodge vibe of this place. We felt very welcomed by Matta at reception, and the included breakfast was great - lots of variety with hot and cold options and ample quantities. The huge windows everywhere had awesome views of the ocean and the lighthouse. We were very impressed with the size and cleanliness of our room and the fact the windows actually fully opened. We didn’t think to bring an adapter for USB charging for our devices and none was available in the room, however Matta very kindly used her personal charging cord to help us out at the front desk. Highly recommend eating at EOs Table, the in-house restaurant. Though it has limited open days and hours it was well worth dining there, the food was excellent.

5 Stars! Cozy, beautiful, clean rooms at a wonderful location. Close to the airport with a lovely view near the lighthouse. Staff were friendly and helpful. Packed us a take out breakfast as our flight home was very early. Favourite place we stayed all week!

Fantastic stay! Everything was very clean and cozy. The beds were lovely, and the views were amazing. Great service and amenities; easy to find. The restaurant was delicious and creative. We would definitely come back and stay for longer!
