This place is excellent for a stay. Especially if coming to or from the international airport. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. The room is excellent, pristine and equipped for all that is needed for our overnight stay. The bed is also very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to the room however I chose to have this at the small table and chairs outside of the room on a small terrace. A perfect place for this. The breakfast is more than adequate, also caters for me as a vegetarian. I asked for a knock at my door to be woken up in case I had slept thrmy alarm and this was given. Such a delightful place to stay. A small courtyard garden with a static table and seats if wanted. Garden lights during the evening make this a pretty area to relax. Tea, coffee and water are available in the room. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The accommodation is located down a side road from the main road. This means it’s nice and quiet. For dinner we decided to walk jumping a few metres to another hotel which served food. However, Faith Hotel do have menus for which to order food which would be delivered if required. Alternatively, we were offered an option of being taken to another place if we wished. We had booked for 2 separate airport transfers as we were travelling on separately to different places. This was organised by and with the owner dropping us all in good time. I noted while at the stay, information regarding trips to places and even tours can be organised. Additionally there is information on an Ayurveda treatments option at a place called Ayurveda Villa which really looked good. This had different packages with a stay including food consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to decide on the relevant treatments for your package. To use up our rupees we were able to pay part cash, part card which was so convenient. This couple really do offer everything in a stay at Airport Faith Hotel. They are passionate about what they do, are committed to making your stay the best. They have everything available or on hand and can’t do enough to make your stay a happy and good one. I highly recommend a stay here.

I stayed one night before I flew out from Sri Lanka. The room was clean and had good air con. Wifi was strong. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The price of my meals and beer was very good and the food tasty. I was well looked after and had a good chat about cricket and Shane Warne. For a very small fee i was able to organise late check out (8.00 pm) The drop-off at the airport was included in the price of the stay. This place was excellent value for money.

I had a wonderful stay at Limeshine Transit Hotel in Negambo. The room was impeccably clean, with fresh bedsheets, and both the AC and fans were in perfect working condition. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with handwash, shampoo, and body wash. Hot water and towels were also readily available. The hotel's location is very convenient, with a Cargills grocery store just a 2-minute walk away. There's a balcony and I enjoyed the view. The staff were exceptionally nice and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend Limeshine Transit Hotel to anyone visiting the area. Ziegler Cottage was our comfortable home for a few days while we visited Negombo. It is easy to reach from the airport, and you can take tuk-tuks or the bus into Negombo. Our room had a sea view and a balcony with sea breezes making airconditioning unnecessary. The waves were too high for us to swim in the sea but the pool made up for it. Food, especially the fruit selection at breakfast, was very good. Staff were responsive and very hard-working. The hotel can organize trips--our all-day outing to a spice plantation, the Ridee Viharaya Temple, and the elephant park was perfect. Everyone goes out of their way to accommodate your needs. The hotel owner drove us to our destination when our ride did not show up. Thank you for a memorable stay! we look forward to returning.

The price is really cheap, the environment is very good, there are a lot of butterflies, there are not many rooms, and it is a big garden. The service staff were super nice and the breakfast was generous. I stayed here for two nights and was very satisfied.

This upper-end hostel provides a good environment to meet fellow travellers. The staff were very friendly and offered me baggage storage for a few days free of charge. The bedding and bathroom are clean, with free drinks provided at the lobby. The hostel is also centrally located in Fort, with souvenir shops and the Dutch Hospital being a stone's throw away. Airport pickup provided by the hostel is slightly pricey so I would recommend visitors to use Uber/Pickme instead.

This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

In fact, this hotel is very comfortable, it is the most comfortable hotel I have visited in Sri Lanka, the environment is also very good. However, this hotel is a seaside, private beach... It is not particularly convenient to go in and go out. If there is no chartered car, the hotel will call the car. Everything else is super good!
