Hotel Tokaien

I stayed here for two nights in late November. The dinner was luxurious, delicious, and plentiful, so it was a shame that I couldn't finish it all. The sashimi and grilled abalone were also very delicious. I went to the breakfast buffet early, so I was able to eat freshly made rolled omelet and fried mexicali, which were very delicious. The quality of the hot spring was pleasant and the view from the open-air bath was very nice. However, on the first night, the temperature of the indoor bath was too high and too hot, so I couldn't soak in it and mainly enjoyed the hot spring in the open-air bath. And on the second night, for some reason the indoor bath was too lukewarm, and it was raining outside, so the water was blowing into the covered bathtub, but I enjoyed the hot spring in the open-air bath. I wonder if it's difficult to adjust the temperature? However, the men's and women's baths were switched, so I was able to enjoy the morning bath! The view from the room was also good. The room was normally clean, and the futon was comfortable to sleep on. There was a decent selection of souvenirs at the souvenir shop, so I bought a lot of things with the nationwide travel support coupon.

色々口コミに書かれていたのでかなり覚悟して行ったのですが、まずまずでした。確かに古いホテルなので外観や部屋はそれを感じさせますが、不快というほどではないです。使っていない宴会場や部屋が大量にあるため、うらぶれ感は否めないですが。またそのデカさのせいで移動が大変です。皆さん書いているように景色は抜群で、10階のラウンジや露天風呂からの景色は最高です。ちなみに露天風呂はかなり熱いのに、室内の湯船はなんであんなにぬるいのでしょう。食事はまあ、あんなものかなというレベル。朝食はよかったですけど。やっぱり今時Wi-Fiがないのは致命的ですね。スタッフの頑張りはわかりますが、もう少しメインテナンスが必要ですね。
