Oasey Beach Hotel

Wij aten vanavond in het restaurant van dit hotel en werkelijk alles was smakeloos of vies. Er worden geen verse ingrediënten gebruikt , de hoofdgerechten worden geserveerd als de voorgerechten net op tafel staan en met klachten over het eten wordt niets gedaan. En dat voor een te hoge prijs (voor Sri Lankaanse begrippen). Ga hier NIET eten: zonde van je humeur en maag.

Отель находится в красивом тихом месте на берегу океана. Небольшая уютная территория, лежаки при отеле бесплатные, на ресепшене выдают полотенца для пляжа. Отель требует косметического ремонта, в номере есть небольшие недостатки. Работники отеля хорошо знают английский и немного русский. Нам повезло встретить местного парня Равинду, он украсил наш отдых, показал и рассказал о своем доме и стране. Он организует небольшие экскурсии на своем тук туке. Возил нас на речное сафари, форт Гале, пляж с черепахами, рудник где добывают лунный камень. Также помог купить сим карту, обменять деньги, показал где купить фрукты и чай. Отдыхали в ноябре 2024. Прекрасный небольшой отель. Просторные номера с шикарным видом на океан. В номерах есть кондиционер и потолочный вентилятор, все работало. Нет телеканалов на русском, wi fi в помощь. Замена полотенец по запросу( кинуть на пол в ванной). Чайник, стаканы. Пакетики с чаем и кофем ежедневно пополнялись, как и бутылочки с водой.Тур был с завтраком и ужином. Завтрак стандартный-глазунья или омлет, тарелка фруктов, сыр, масло, тосты и булочка с овощами, чай, кофе. Ужин на заказ, очень большие порции. Персонал в отеле очень приветливый, быстро решают проблему ( стараются говорить на )русском. На территории много пальм, лежаков хватает всем. Напротив отеля есть небольшой магазинчик, но мы ездили на тук-туке в Бентоту за фруктами и пошопиться. Огромное спасибо хозяину Радже, каждый день подходил и спрашивал как отдыхаете, не плохо говорит по русски. Вернулась бы в этот отель? Однозначно, ДА!

In December, my family and I spontaneously decided to go to Sri Lanka. We chose an option that would allow us not to be too tied to the hotel, but at the same time, the ocean would be nearby. We have never regretted coming here. The hotel is not new, I will say this right away. There will be no gloss and shine. But the main thing is that everything is clean. Cleaning is daily. As we later realized, this is not in every hotel, especially in the 3* category. The beds are comfortable, the linen is good. There is no dampness in the rooms. The hotel staff is very responsive. If there are any problems, they are fixed immediately. The food is not bad. We mostly ate at the hotel, as it turned out that the hotel’s price tag was very reasonable compared to neighboring establishments. Everything was delicious. The food is adapted for those who do not like spicy food. The only thing I’ll say right away is when you see French onion soup on the menu, don’t take it. This is not their strong point. And everything is quite tasty. Breakfast is not quite ordinary. There is no buffet. They will bring you fruit, juice, toast with jam, cheese and butter, always some national dish (roti or pancakes with coconut jam) and an omelet or eggs of your choice. But the main attraction of this hotel is the ocean. For breakfast, lunch and dinner. The tables are actually on the beach. Therefore, you can enjoy the ocean surf around the clock. The only minus, although for some it will be a plus, is that there are no benches or shops around. one shop opposite with cookies, chips and essentials and a fruit stall. Therefore, if we needed something, we went to Bentota. But it didn’t bother me much. The holiday is relaxing and very romantic.
