The experience of this hotel is average. First of all, the hygiene of the room is average. The bathroom has a bit of smell. Secondly, the towels don't look very clean. I was woken up by mosquito bites in the middle of the night and saw dozens of mosquito bites on my feet. It's really unbearable. I haven't had such a bad experience in so many days. However, the location of the hotel is good. It is in Coco Bay and faces the beach. The breakfast is not a buffet, but a meal ordering form. I didn't expect that the taste is good, because the bread and waffles are baked on the ordering basis, which is particularly fragrant.

Upgrade à une suite très appréciée. Très belle chambre comfortable et bien équipée avec grand balcon, vue sur la mer juste en face. Hotel calme, personnel attentif et aimable particulièrement au resto. Belle plage nettoyée chaque jour. Un petit souci d'interruption du courant a été vite résolu. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

My wife and I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle before I joined a meeting in Colombo. It was nice and peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. All our wishes were met with a great restaurant. The adjoining beach was the highlight, lovely.

CoCoBay Unawatuna is conveniently located near the highway exit. The resort is beautiful, and the ocean view from the rooms along with the private beach is simply lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming. While we thought we were going to miss buffet service, the set menus at the Le Mer and the accommodating attitude of the restaurant staff were truly commendable.

Small hotel with a swimable cove, very friendly staff and amazing food. Rooms are HUGE. Nothing is a problem. Tuk tuks very close by. Restaurant drinks and food so good we mainly ate on site. Bonus for learner surfers, you can get lessons. We loved it.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Pending weather the beach and ocean are a great experience to enjoy. It might appear a bit worn, but the surroundings made up for it. The sun beds facing the bay is a lovely feature both on a cloudy and sunny day. Recommended visit

Приятное во всех отношениях место: расположено в стороне от дороги, огромные комфортные номера с видом на океан и в минутной доступности к океану- засыпаешь и просыпаешься под мягкий шепот волн. Закрытый от постороннего посещения пляж, удобные лежаки и полотенца, ресторан на берегу океана, приветливый и отзывчивый по первому запросу персонал- полное ощущение, что ты в гостях на вилле у друзей. Полный релакс и уединение. Сердечная благодарность всем работникам отеля и ресторана- настоящие профессионалы своего дела и хорошие люди. Тот редкий случай когда только уехал и уже хочется вернуться))) Одним словом: соберетесь на Шри-Ланку, только в CoCoBay Unawatuna.

Property is very tranquil and located not far from key attractions. The staff were very friendly, courteous and attentive offering a personalized service. The food was lovely and the restaurant were happy prepare custom meals that were outside of their standard menu. A nice relaxing experience!

Honestly for the price point we payed we didn’t feel too mad especially with what the average hotel prices are in this area. However room had an odd smell the entire time, we found serval hairs in our room (we told staff they did come and clean up but we found more hairs after), the beach isn’t great as the sea was brown at times and on a main road so wouldn’t recommend if you want to go for the beach. However for getting too and from Galle location was good so depends what you want. Staff although were friendly and helpful so can’t complain on that. I guess you kinda get what you pay for.
