Stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Gainesville back in July while in this area on business. Its a lovely hotel and in a central area with access to local bars, restaurants, shops etc. When I arrived the staff were very welcoming and friendly and ensured I had my bearings and given details of everything I needed for my 3 night stay. I was in room 105 on the reception/bar/restaurant level which was a perfect location. The room was well equipped, very clean, comfortable beds and had AC which is required at this time of year. The AC was a little noisy and had to be turned lower at nights however the room was spacious and cleaned daily. I never had dinner or breakfast in the hotel however I had a couple of drinks and small snacks all of which were nice and served by the very friendly bar staff. I would stay here again if in the area and recommend to others.

Having just stayed at the Westin in DC and receiving sub par service on so many levels, this was a refreshing stay. The hotel is very new , the rooms are very large and clean. And while we are not talking luxurious linens it was a very decent room. There is a lovely courtyard with a large sitting area, tables and I believe a BBQ area. The staff was lovely, the coffee at the small coffee area was excellent. Will stay again when I am in the area.

This is a very comfortable, friendly hotel, adjacent to The National Apartment Complex. Although there isn't a restaurant, they do offer a few bistro items for B-L-D. Being alone, I did feel safe in this location. The room was very clean and well-kept. I only wish they allowed small pets. My Princess Shetland Sheepdog usually travels with me - but pets are prohibited. For an additional fee, most responsible pet parents know their four-legged children will behave and are willing to pay the up-charge and/or stay in a specific section of the hotel that is "pet-friendly."

We stayed here one night over the weekend. The two biggest things for my family in a hotel are feeling safe/secure and cleanliness. We luckily had both during our stay. Parking is $15 for night but that’s not bad at all compared to most places. The hotel itself is really nicely decorated. The outside areas look really nice. We did not partake but that was just due to the heat. The market is expensive but convenient. It’s what you expect when you stay at a pricier hotel. The room was very clean. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all available in dispensers on shower wall. Beds were really comfortable. There was a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker in the room that were all discreetly concealed in a cabinet. Television has tons of streaming options you can connect to. Although our visit was short, we enjoyed it!

We arrived Friday afternoon after two hours of horrible traffic. After checking in we went to the hotel bar in the lobby and waited 20 minutes before we left. The 300lb bartender spent the entire time we waited on his phone and never helped us. We left after 20 min and had a drink in our room. Very sad the service was so bad. We will not be back.
