The Kreuz is part of a village complex - separate sleeping accommodation, restaurant and cafe for breakfast - but all within 50 yards of each other. Parking is adequate and the village is a pleasant place to break a journey - there are many old timber-framed houses and a stream flows down the main street. The bedroom was clean and comfortable - except for vicious bed legs! The restaurant on a hot midsummer evening is a wonderful beer garden, shaded by large chestnut trees. Breakfast is a good continental selection - self service - with scrambled eggs on offer.
